What’s a moment in your career that felt small at the time but ended up changing everything?

Lukas Valencia

What is one song that you guys would love to bring back to the set list that you haven’t played in while? My choice… But Honestly from Echos Silence Patience and Grace. Love you guys! 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽

Brad Power

Having 3 guitarists is slightly uncommon, how do you write the guitar parts?

Bruski

I work with a singer who, like Dave, has a powerful rock voice. Any advice on vocal production? I'm specifically interested in mic choice, your preferred vocal chain and if you ever double track.

nate kelmes

Dave, When woodshedding an idea how do you know that you're onto something? When do you bring that idea to the band to develop further? Thanks Foos!!

Paulo Fallone

When coming up with an idea, how much the production matters when the musical part of it is really really good? Do you guys get the feeling right away, or it evolves as production/recording is done?

Paulo Fallone

Found the band because my brother once was watching a YouTube video of Generator and Dave was using the talkbox, I was so confused and impressed at the same time. Dave did say on the video "This is embarrassing... chicks dig it!". Then it just so happened that the band is my fav of all time. How did the idea of using the talkbox on that song came about?

Paulo Fallone

On the new record most of the drums were done by Ilan, is that right? I did notice there are two different snare drum sounds, Asking For A Friend which I believe has been recorded by Dave and Caught In The Echo by Ilan, using two different kits/snares. Obviously that's some nerd stuff and most people wouldn't even notice, how much does that stand out to you guys?

Paulo Fallone

So far, the singles out of Your Favorite Toy each sound like and remind me a bit of a certain era and sound from past albums, was there a focus on putting together an album which encapsulates the whole history and different sounds of previous albums on purpose?

David Adam Monroe

Dave's vocals are so rad! How do you deal with vocal fatigue? Have you gotten coaching/advice that has had you change your technique for live vs in the studio? Ever push though on a tough day on tour when rest would be ideal? Any tips for longevity?

Daniel Veazey

What are your favourite venues to play which have been lost over time. I remember seeing you at the Astoria in London and will never forget it, do you have ones you wish you'd played but never did?

Nick Webb

Ilan has a book on drumming. Dave, if you wrote a book on songwriting, what would be the most important ideas in it?

Callum Ward

the foo fighters have a cemented bold sound, the more albums under your belt, does it become easier or harder to take risks creatively or sonically?
