Louis Moorhouse

Hi! I’d love to know how the writing process works when you two work together. Is Rob producing as the song is being written, or are you writing more acoustically on a piano or guitar? And when you’re writing, or indeed producing a song with both of you in the same room together, how do you choose sounds? I personally find this process extremely difficult, because you don’t want to bore the artist to death while you’re flicking through presets etc. Hope this makes sense. Thank you :) Louis

Thanks so much for doing this, I love holly and rob! I couldn’t agree more with Louis‘ questions, so please ask them 😊

Elliott Beenk

Thanks for taking the time! How do you approach layering vocals? How do you go about creating those cool background textures in your songs?

Noah Page

I'd love to hear about the production on Sleep Tight, although it's not on the album, there's a bunch of hybrid sounds that feel organic but are obviously processed as well and i think it's a very interesting sounding song

Yessss Holly & Rob on Tape Notes, dream come true!! I'm curious about the guitar tones on the record. So many cool and unique sounds! Any secret amps/pedals/plugins you'd be willing to share? Congrats on an incredible album! ❤️

Julian

Does the live band and the concert experience play a role in the album production process (in terms of instrumentation, live playability, a song’s function within a set)? How do you approach recreating the more intricate, rich electronic songs live?

Simon

What fantastic guests! I'd love to hear more about the background vocal textures Holly & Rob create. The nerd in me wants to say it's some VSS-30 wizardry but dying to know how they approach them!

Josh Thomas

Love the new album!! Especially the drum sounds, how did you approach tracking and production of them? Also always love your vocal production, how did you approach that as well? Keen to hear the Ep!

Baylee Waller

Louis said it better than I could! How do you balance creative exploration without the session becoming stale and losing the artists engagement?

Baylee Waller

What are the main synths used on the record? Are you processing any vst with outboard gear?

Sam Posener
