Developer Log #18: Ship Builder (Patreon)

Hello everyone!

Progress of this month:

After finishing this month's production I started to work on the Skyship. I worked yesterday and today on the Hull lower section of the model.

I worked by carving some wood texture on the Hull and also made the Tip of the ship. I don't want to add any logo to it however I left a space for you to add yours later on.

I'm not worrying too much about connection points yet however the metal beams that are separating the lower parts of the hull look to be a bit too large, I will later on reduce their width. These beams are very important to hide the seams. Just a reminder, it does not look like it but that mid-section is large (2,7cm x 3, to a total of 8.1cm).

With this sculpture done, now it's possible to make the ship longer or smaller.

Planned for September 2024:

Here I'm changing a bit from my previous schedule. I will build the ship from the bottom to the top, therefore next month I will focus on the Back section of the Hull.

June 2025: Skyship release as Imagine Minis 4 years miniature, available to all Patreons, Tribers. This miniature can then be added as the first 9-month Loyalty reward.

Even though this miniature will no longer be a Kickstarter, I will still maintain it on the previously released posts and folder structure.
