With 24 votes, the winner is the Giants of the North.

Our group of Dwarven Explorers will locate a group of Vrykul

According to the wowpedia: The vrykul (pronounced /ˈvɹɑɪkuɫ/ or "VRYE-kool") are a race of fearsome half-giant warriors that live mostly in Northrend and are known for their close affinity with the sea and with the continent's native proto-dragons. They are descended from titan-forged iron vrykul that were afflicted with the Curse of Flesh and are, in turn, the progenitors of the human race, who were originally vrykul children that were born weak and deformed as a result of the curse.

This set would include:

Valkyr x2 (I think they are L, like their Giant Counterparts)

Boros, Half-Giant King (L)

Modular Half Giant x6 (L)

King mount: Proto-Drake/Wild

Well this were my initial plans... now let's talk about the future:

I created this set because of the Valkyries. I think they are amazing, and I wanted to work on them... so I chose Utgard Keep as a reference, where a Valkyrie comes and turns the boss into an undead (remembering all the wipes...).

I started to collect reference even watched some videos to refresh my memory.

In this dungeon, there are some things that I did that can be used:

March of the Dead (skeletons),

Necromancer (2 months ago, I believe), and

Hay from trouble at the farm (as a part of scenery).

These miniatures won't be re-sculpted and are being listed just as a way to help you play this dungeon on the tabletop with friends.

About the miniatures:

When we talk about giants, In DnD they are Huge, and for Pathfinder, some are Large, and others are Huge. I will keep the normal monsters in Large, while making the boss Huge. When I say I will make the boss Huge, what I mean is that I will use 50.8mm round base for the normal and put them at the limit for it (let's say 2x a 32mm scale miniature tall), and for the boss a little bit taller, making him not fit a 50.8mm round base (probably 2.5x 32mm scale or maybe 3x) I will see more of this when I start working on them.

- The Valkyr (Large)

The main reason for this release. They are large and have wings.

I will make more of them, 2 are not enough for me... One of them will have different clothing (I will add a skirt). As for the helmet, I've found this art, and I think this is a good change. The helmet no longer covers her eyes, making them look more menacing. But I don't know, maybe you have a different point of view. I would like to hear what you think. Even though the art has a shoulder pad, I don't plan to add those; I will make a different one (though I will leave them unmerged).

They will be modular with 3 hand options:

Sword,

Spear, and

Empty.

I've seen some art that they are casting. But I don't feel comfortable with this.

- Boros, Half-Giant King (Huge)

Here we have a dilemma. After talking to some Patrons on Discord, I was reminded of King Ymiron. I'm really troubled by this. Why? Ymiron's design is interesting, while The Plunderer is OK, and after a failed resurrection, he becomes a monster (that does not wear the same gear).

Should I combine Ymiron and The Plunderer into a single miniature?

Should I make them both, or only the Plunderer?

When creating the dark transformation, should I make it into a different character, or should I keep some of the gear and make a zombification on him?

Weapon: 2 Handed Ax

- Modular Half Giant x6 (L)

Skarvald should be included in the modular units

His design is way too simple to deserve being a boss. I will throw his shoulder in the mix of armor pieces, add the First weapon to the list, and it should be good.

Even though there is only one female among the Mobs, I will add more of them. I will make each giant with a variation with a helmet.

Modular Hands:

1 Hand Sword

1 Hand Ax

Round Shield

Hammer

Spell

2 Hand Ax

Fist Weapon

- Proto-Drake/Wild

I wrote this as and Idea, but after seeing some references, I decided to make it a normal Giant mount. The reason for this is that the King is already Huge, making it silly to ride a drake. What I'm going to do is make some Giants into DrakeRiders.

at least 2 drakes, 4 riders (2 male and 2 female).

Organizing the work schedule:

March

Half-Giants x8 (4 males and 4 females)

Prince Kaleseth

April

Drake and Drake Riders

Valkyries x3

May

Giant King

Dark Transformation

Valkyrie: Hylde Death Caller

This is the plan; things might go faster or slower, and the release window might be affected by this. I might also add content based on inspiration while searching for more references.

If you read this far, thank you. Hope you liked it. Also, please consider sharing your thoughts; you never know, it might improve the ideas written so far.

Best regards,

Ivo

By the way, while you're working on the Valkyries, are you planning on creating a spirit healer as well? They seem pretty similar, but as I know no one has created such a model before, it will definitely be unique.

Imagine Minis

Never thought it could fit here. I will see if I can manage to put in one of the months
