Model Update - Orc WarDrummer & House (Patreon)
Content
Hello everyone!
Today I was about to clean the models for the May releases, but in order to do this, I had to clean my desk (not much organized), open up some space, and when I saw the Orc Wardrummer.
The right drum had some small cracks. I forced myself in with some tools to look deeper, and there it was, trapped resin. I went to the file to check it. The Drumm is hollow, but it has only a single, small tunnel that leads to the rest of the miniature. I opened up some holes in the other drum and there it was more trapped resin (meaning it could shatter at any moment).
If you haven't printed this miniature, please wait for the update. If you have printed on my support settings/hollow, I recommend you drill the drums to avoid them cracking.
The House from the trouble at the farm also cracked on the roof.

I'm sorry for the bad design. I'm going to fix the files right now.
Edit: I have updated both miniatures. For the Orc, I added blockers on the drums since I did not want to poke holes in them. For the house, there are many unconnected regions; probably a heavier pass would be needed to improve the model. For now, I added blockers to avoid the pocket (where mine cracked), which will add a bit more resin to the model. This is why I recommend FDM for this model.
Best regards,
Ivo
