The Dark Council (TDC) - Ideas (Patreon)

Hello everyone!

I took a break from sculpting I started collecting information and assembling my reference sheet for The Dark Council theme.

The dark council is a group of Dreadlords plotting to bring death and devastation to our world, Based on the seven deadly sins. These Dreadlords will be a bit taller than medium but will use large bases because of the wings, and gameplay mechanics, except X'avon.

The images above represent a bit of what I am going for. To give a feeling that all these will be part of the same group certain armor pieces will be shared among the models: Mainly shoulders but can also be Bracers, Belts, or Leg armor.

About body types: Taking the original art as reference I found that most of them have hair in the legs but not all, I will use this to create diversity among the models. Male Normal body: Envy, Pride. Female Normal Body: Wrath and  Greed. Male Fat body: Gluttony. Male Slim Body: Sloth. Female Curvy body: Lust, this one I will pick inspiration from Kingdom death miniatures, but I don't wish to create something so exaggerated.

I have made a few changes from the original set, this will increase the theme size but in my head makes sense. I was going to create a worker for N'zull, so instead of making a pawn to compose a base, I decided to create one for a normal release and have him appear more times composing other bases, if you have any suggestions of pose or how to insert this guy more times, please let me know. Instead of creating a normal human worker, I decided to make a High Elf worker, to get out of the common.

Miz'la, The Queen of Lust: Female Dreadlord, using armorkini, Lust, 2nd pose, Embracing Gelvain, Weapon Whip.

X'Avon, The Wingless: Male Dreadlord, was born without wings. Pride, Weapon Daggers

Tok'zreth, The Loreseeker: Female Dreadlord, the most cunning and smart of all. Greed using staff and claws (L), (HOTS Jaina inspired).
