Hello everyone!

Update July 22th

I uploaded 2 new images. This is the last update. Yesterday I made the armor and posed both models.

Today and probably tomorrow too, I will be fixing feather positions and adding the finishing details. On Monday I will pose the riders and leave these guys ready to be printed. Since these guys are large creatures I will hold the print a little bit because we are getting closer to the end of the month and I still need to pose and finish the Archer Hero. I will print all of them together, in case of Failure I will clean the printer only once.

Update July 21th

Finished adding all the feathers and the wings. Today I will work on the armor.

Update July 20th

Now it started to look like a Hippogriff... Yesterday I added details to the head, beak and also added some feathers.

Today I will finish the feathers and start working on the wings. I expect to finish adding all the feathers today. Leaving only armor for tomorrow.

I have been thinking about the pose for this one, I will put one on the ground and one flying. I thought about making both of them flying but I don't have many ideas (yet) on how I could make them "fly". Probably some rocks or trees, maybe a simple flying stand under the belly (recommended to be printed with clear resin). I will think about this during the process.

---End of update---

Yesterday after releasing Nassam, I started to work on the Hippogriff. I chose to work with the new model as a reference picking a piece or other from other versions.

So far I have blocked the size and a few proportions. I Placed the Gryphon wing as a placeholder for a future wing. Please note that the body is small and without many details because I will do the same as I did with the Gryphon, I will manually place each feather, even though is not practical or effective, I think the end result will be worth the effort.

As for the saddle, I picked the same one I did for the Defenders of the Glades, wild saber. Doing this will ensure that the Sentinels riding the Saber Panther will be compatible with the Hippogriff.

Before you say it. Yes, I haven't done the tail yet. It will be done as a long horse tail (Hair) and 2 long feathers.

I will keep updating this post as I progress in the sculpting process.

Best regards,

Ivo

Thanks! I think so too. it's going to be awesome to print this one... sad part is that I have to survive the feather supports lol

I think a flying pose with the help of a flying stand would be really cool tho. Very nice model, can't wait to print it!!

Thanks! Yeah, I'm leaning toward this direction instead of making a base that connects to the model.
