Hello everyone!

Yesterday I was able to work a bit more on the Kickstarter project.

If you missed last week's Post, here's the link: Weekly Developer Log #11: Ship Builder Kickstarter | Patreon

What have I done since the last post?

I worked on the guard rail of the tip and at some point, I decided to stop and make something more important... THE CANNON lol

I might not look like a big advancement from last time but this project is taking me out of my comfort zone, this requires a bit more thinking on my part especially because things will need to print good both on FDM and Resin Printers and also because things will need to fit together (because it's modular).

It was getting late so I stopped the cannon midway, I intend to add some panel lines on the bottom part to add a bit more interest.

What I will do Next?

I will finish the cannon and keep adding details to the tip of the ship.

Time invested in this project: 43 hours

That's it for this week's update. If you have any suggestions please let me know in the comments below.

Best regards,

Ivo

Looking good! Can the cannons have slots for magnets so they can rotate?

Imagine Minis

So far they have a fit system, but I guess I can make holes for the magnets. What Diameter?

David

I am not sure how big the cannons are but I generally use 2mm diameter 1mm height for limbs of some miniatures. Any size of magnets would be fine with me as I can buy any specific size. Other people who prefer not to use magnets can just glue them so it works for everyone.
