Bonus episode for our Patrons!

Recorded Ask Me Anything session with Casefile team.

It's the first time we have done that so it may be a bit awkward:)

But we will get better with time, just send us more questions for the next one!

This was great. I will have to think of a question for next time. P.S. Happy Birthday Mike - Enjoy your 30th!

Justine Kelly

Awesome. Thanks for answering my question!

The 9:00 minute mark is exactly why this is my favorite true crime podcast by a mile. Because you lay out the facts and there it is. That's it. No theories, bias, opinions, hidden agenda.

Stuart Sharman

You have my $25 a month. It’s the least i can do to support such an important venture. My small way of saying thanks

Casefile

No problem Justine - thank you for your support.

Casefile

Thank you very much Stuart. Much appreciated!

Casefile

Thank you everyone. No doubt these will get better - Im not used to talking in to a microphone without a script!

Bob K

I really enjoyed this. I had a feeling the recording process took a long time, it is always flawless, but I had no idea how many potential problems I never thought of exist. I have heard some podcasts with sirens, dogs barking, shouting, and even one with a tornado siren in the background and just want to say thank you for waiting out the wind storm before you recorded. Jonestown changed not just how I thought about the victims of Jim Jones but how I think about people wrapped up in other cult like relationships. This was a very hard hitting podcast and I appreciate every detail, from extensive research, outstanding writing, and flawless delivery allowed me to process this without distraction or questions about the veracity of the story. Casefile sets a standard modern journalism regularly falls short of.

Laura Carlson

I really enjoyed this. Thank you! :)

Gillian Freeman

This was great! Thanks for answering my questions, it made this poor, gutted Broncos fan smile :)

Brett_T

Great job Guy's, I don't think you need much more in the way of practice, it came off very well. I'm sure you've mentioned this somewhere in posts but, going forward is this the way you are going to conduct all AMA's?

Gabriela Rodriguez

Happy Birthday Mike! My birthday is next thursday! awesome AMA discussion, you guys all rock!

Casefile

there will be the usual typed chat as well

Amity B

Where is Mike from originally? I just can't pick that accent. Great bonus content team. Thank you! And happy birthday to Mike.

Brett_T

Excellent thank you.

Brett_T

Not sure if want to answer this for the next AMA or now As I recall you've said you're not going to be posting the scripts anymore, which is fine because I rarely read them, but it was great to have some visual aids for the stories, by means of depictions or photos

Brett_T

they could help to give them more depth. Would you still be posting some content like this?

Casefile

He's Polish (lives in the UK though)

MMH

Just listened to this! You all did an excellent job. I like hearing The Hosts voice with a lighter tone, its very different from his CF delivery. Anna all your reading pays off, great work. Mike, glad you did not edit out your birthday here.

WillOwl11

Thank you for answering my question and for taking the time to do the extra session. I think this interaction will be something I'll look forward to every month from now on. :)

WillOwl11

Oh and happy birthday Mike. Have a great year ahead. :)

Amity B

Thank you! That was hurting my brain ☺️
