What was the most 'shocking' to you during the massive beast that was Silk Road? Was there a certain point where it became almost unbelievable and you had to do a double take?

Eileen, you're amazing and i admire your work so much. How /why did you wind up focusing on the internet and cybercrimes after you left law? Have you embedded yourself in any other communities for your research the way you embedded yourself in the dark web? Can you give any insight into how you go about embedding yourself in these spaces? And has that process changed over the years as the internet & social media have evolved?

Hi Eileen, The case of Mark and John is so bizarre it is almost unbelievable. What upsets me is how unbelievable the response of the public and police after Leigh Leigh was brutally raped and murdered. At worst, they thought she was a slut who ruined the criminal’s reputations and best, that she was asking for something like this to happen. How do you destress after researching and writing cases like these?

Hi Eileen! I especially enjoyed the episodes you’ve written for Casefile. Being an investigative journalist and writing about/exposing crimes and all, have you ever experienced threats to your safety? How do you handle this? What precautions do you take to ensure your security and how do you keep your professional life from your personal?

Jan LeBlanc

Hi Casefile crew. This question is for the host. In several of your episodes, you play the actual interview or 911 call. Do you have to pay them to get this information? Or do they provide it free of cost? Just curious. And great job you guys are doing!!
