Byron Ridenour

You’ve talked about music interests before. How about your favorite movies?

Leah Budd

What has Mike been up to lately? How is the new dog coming along? 😄

Tyler Menezes

Why did you decide to remain anonymous even as we've gotten to know the rest of the team? How many people know who you are in real life?

kayla noftall

Just wondering if this is your full time job? And is this a full time job for other members of the team?

Laura Sayers

Hi! Have you thought about doing a multi part on Keith Raniere? You would be the PERFECT host for this story. I invision it being similar to your captivating Silk Road series. Love Casefile, keep up the great work!

Tom

Greetings from the r/casefile subreddit. We love discussing your show on there. Do you and team every pay attention to your fans on social media, or do you find that stuff annoying?

Stefan Bradley

What’s a typical day for you Casey when you work on Casefile Presents? Do you do 9-5 Monday-Friday? Or do you just get up and work. I imagine you gotta do a lot of admin stuff as well as narration and research. Would love answers from Mike and the team too!

Connor Z

After going back and re-listening to the early episodes, I noticed that the first 4 cases were all unsolved. Were you initially intent on doing only unsolved cases? Did that fact influence the name of the podcast? Also, it looks like cases 13 and 19 (maybe more) were replaced with a message that they might be re-recorded for future episodes. Are either currently scheduled to be re-released?

Jen N.

Pineapple on pizza: yae or nay? It’s very popular here in Canada (and a personal fave).

Cathy

How did you come up with the intro music?

zoe

Hi, I'm relatively new to Patreon, so apologies if these questions have been asked before. Are there any investigations that you've looked at where you've said, "Nope, not touching that one", and if so, for what reason? Also, if an interesting case occurred, say, last year, what would be considered a respectful period of time before Casefile would cover it and does it depend on you getting approval from relatives etc?

Tearyawna

Hey Connor, I asked the Casefile team about Case 13: The Family Court Murders a couple days ago. They answered back and said that they currently don't have a time frame for the re-releases. I'm looking forward to those episodes as well!

Tearyawna

Hey Casey, I have always wondered if the silhouetted man in the Casefile logo is you or a random photo from the internet?

Da Guru Bro

Tell us about your current favourite coffee beans and where you get them.

JBlazin

What cases stick out as particularly difficult to get through? Whether due to them being particularly heinous or difficult to find adequate information on?

Pegi Miskey

Hi I’ve always loved the music that accompanies the podcast- tell us more about who is creating it and why you chose the beeping intro which I also like 👍

Timothy Stratton

How much effort do you (Casey) put in to remaining anonymous?

Cory Weisskirk

Have you visited any of the sites of any episodes? Belangalo, port arthur, etc. If so, what are your thoughts on them?

Lisa O Connor

Have you ever been really surprised by something in a case that you thought you knew really well when you started researching it?

Lee Harrington

Hi, do you, like me, think it was obvious who murdered Britt Lapthorne? Those scumbag cops. The blue van, photofits, all the “corrupted” cctv. It makes me so mad that they have gotten away with it along with plenty more crimes no doubt.

Austin Peppers

Hi Casey! Have you been approached by family members of a crime victim or any other sources to cover a story to help it gain exposure? Can't wait to see what you have in store for us and a HUUUUUGE thank you for being part of what helped me keep my sanity over the last year.

Alexandra Peshcherenko

Hi! As for podcasting, do you receive negative comments? And how do you cope with them?

Elly Wright

This may have already been asked but has a family member or close friend of a convicted person of crimes you’ve covered ever attempted to approach you?

Maya George

You’ve probably been asked this, so I apologise for the repetition. Is it easy to start a podcast? What equipment do you need to get started? Do you have any tips? :)

Rebekah

Hey Casey! So we know what beer you don’t like... what do you like? I am a big fan of double ipa’s. Not sure if that is something that our countries have in common. Also are you aware of how popular you have become internationally? I listen to a bunch a true crime podcasts and I always feel proud when they reference you and talk about how you all at casefile have set this high standard... about how much of the spotlight is on each of the victims and when the story is done we remember their names and not the perpetrators and also the comprehensive research. You guys are masters at this art of true crime podcasting.

Sarah Parker

Have all the members of the Casefile team met in person? How many people work on Casefile?

Mr Chips

I miss Mike’s voice and accent very much! When is the whole gang going to record an episode together?

James Lake

When will be the next cult series? I love the Jim jones episodes, would love to see episodes on church of Scientology or Shoko Asahara

Jason Colombo

Sorry if it’s too late, but Useless ID just dropped a new single AND announced a greatest hits. Did you happen to get in on that?? New single is incredible 😍
