Hello Patreon. It is time for another Q&A with Casey. If you have any questions for other team members, please send them in as well and we will get those answered for you. Ask your questions in the comments below, and Casey will record the answers soon. We already have one question from Saraneth;

Saraneth

Casey, how did your 4x4x48 go? I was really happy to make a donation to MPAN and was curious how  it went.

Hey Casey! What do you think about the missing peoples cases in the Victorian high country and the button man?

Mark Ofmalovia

I can't pick the accent behind Elsha's Aussie overlay. Do you know what it is? Also how does her voice recover so well after singing her screamo style in She's the Band? I got my punky guitar playing 14 year old listening to Elsha's band and Bad Religion. Mark

Hi guys loved all the episodes this year, they’ve been some of the best ever! Did you deliberately set out in 2021 to avoid high-profile cases? Nearly every case so far I have never heard of.

Mr Chips

Enjoying the cases for this year so far. I have noticed most of them are comparably short compared to previous years. Any reason for that? Also, I would be very interested to hear if you are planning a multi-part episode for this year.

Da Guru Bro

Hay Casey, do you follow F1 or the A League? Also when you do go to the ground to watch sport are you a buy food there or take your own picnic? If you take your own what do you take?

Tom

I have always enjoyed the background music of Casefile episodes. Is there any way we can listen to the soundtrack? If not, do you think it could ever be released?

Connor Z

Great job on the previous few episodes! I particularly liked that each one had something unique to it. For my question, how many episodes did you produce entirely on your own or before someone else joined the team? Also since Mike is mixing episodes, have you ever considered updating the theme or intro song to something original or are you attached to the podcast's roots?

Emma

Big listener to the show since it came out in 2016, would you ever consider doing an episode that covers numerous smaller missing person cases with not as much information available? The main one that comes to mind for me is Tej Chitnis, it would bring massive awareness to the unsolved cases *edit* I don't mean patreon cases, I mean cases smaller than that, where you could cover a couple of cases in one episode

Tina Duff

Huge irish Fan Casey... I know I have asked this question before but....you covered an Irish case once before, Elaine O'Hara...do you have any other irish cases in the pipe line?

- Do you own a Holden Sedan? - Have you ever driven or been in a Holden Sedan? - Do you know of any relative, friend, or acquaintance who owns, has been in, driven, or been near a Holden Sedan over the last 12 months? - Are you in any way affiliated with the Holden automobile manufacturing company? Just checking...

zoe

That made me laugh! As a Brit listener, at one point I did wonder if that was the only car you could buy in Oz 😂

Mary L

Hey guys. I just finished watching Memories of Murder and was wondering if you ever considered covering the Hwaseong serial murders since the killer was recently caught??

Liddle Lady

What kind of voice work do you do to prep for episodes? it never struck me before but i listened to a behind the files ep and then a reg ep and was amazed at how low your register is when doing the reg eps versus your casual speaking voice. It’s also even quite different from older episodes, where you used to change the pitch or add some growls if you were reading a conversation (i actually miss that, for what it’s worth lol) it’s all lovely, btw. and this american girl is always a fan of the accent so i can listen to you read the phone book and i’d be alright 🙂

Amber Sapp

Amen. I fall asleep listening to him sometimes 💜.
