A few minutes into her shift, a thunderous roar blasted through the building, causing the entire warehouse to shake. Within moments, the area fell eerily silent. Jenny stopped what she was doing and looked anxiously at those around her. Once their shock had worn off, the workers rushed out to investigate the source of the frightening noise.

I wish people had voted for the Meteorite one instead.

Carly J.

Just think of it as--people died from this. It's their story--how they died. The least I can do is hear their story. It's heartbreaking

I remember this. It especially hits too close to home, I was born & raised there & my Dad took those trains for years. Thank you for covering it 🙏🏼

Initially I voted for the meteorite one but I enjoyed this a lot as I listened on. I find the contradictions that come out at a trial fascinating.. how lies are caught and I appreciate that the names and age of the deceased were read- really sad and I appreciate the acknowledgment. Thank you

Olive

Such a tragedy all around. Thank you!!

MM

Thank you for the story. I agree with the judge. Side topic, this POS couldn’t get his 4 wheel drive jeep off the tracks? Righhhhttt. Or like the story said, turn on your lights. So many lies.

Andrea Johnson

Wow, great episode. I can't believe I don't remember this happening!

Great job team! I love that it was a different type of story. Once it is all adjudicated, I would love to hear the CF take on a recent tragic crash in Colorado involving a semi truck losing his brakes and colliding with backed up traffic outside of Denver. Such a tragedy! People lost their lives at the hands of a driver who should have used the numerous runaway truck ramps he passed coming out of the mountains.

Crazy and tragic story. Thanks CF team 🙏🏼

Laura

Great stuff CF. Just wish you would have stuck to your roots and kept using the metric system for us Aussies listeners
