When 14-year-old Andrew Gosden mysteriously disappeared from his home in the UK suburb of Doncaster, evidence emerged to indicate that he’d left of his own free will. But Andrew was a gifted, intellectual teenager who came from a loving and supportive family - not your typical teenage runaway. As the questions began to stack up and the days passed by with no word from Andrew, his worried family were forced to face the unthinkable: had Andrew been lured away and fallen victim to foul play?

Man, what an all-around heartbreak.

Katy Turley

Dang! Such a sad story. What in the heck happened?????

Chris Rodriguez

I would say he was groomed online or at school

Mr Chips

Thank you for covering his story. It is so sad that the last time I read about him was maybe two years ago or more, and still no updates. I feel so sorry for his family. This is like the modern Johnny Gosch.

Brock

I can’t even imagine how much his poor family has gone through.

This is such a mysterious case but so unforgettable because this kid could be anyone's kid, and absolutely anything could have happened to him. Thanks for covering it, I hadn't heard about the 2022 arrests so for a minute there I thought maybe they'd actually find out what happened to him after all this time -- and then to learn otherwise was such a gutpunch. His poor, poor family. Also HOW did that chat platform not have *any* information on that user at all? The odds of that just seem unbelievable. Ugh.

Miri Dean

The chat platform tip not panning out is so frustrating. It seemed pretty compelling!

Carolyn Barry

This is such a mystery. How terrible for his family not to have any answers or closure.

I can’t even begin to imagine the agony this family still endures to this day. The not knowing would kill me. I honestly don’t know how they get up and function.

Mandy G

Well, this was just absolutely devastating. :(

I like the guy that narrates these. I can’t stand listening to anyone else doing casefiles because he narrates so well… as a single father, I resonated Andrews dads pain 100% :( I couldn’t imagine how I’d go on if this ever happened to my kids.

Sarah

This is absolutely heartbreaking. This poor family.

The acorns and all - heartbreaking!

I got so distracted by the acorn planting that I started looking up how to start oak trees from acorns and missed half the podcast -now relistening☺️- great descriptive script there on the oak tree.

😭 That panicked feeling of when you can’t find your child going on and on- that his Dad described hit me hard. My heart goes out to this family. Can’t imagine not ever knowing what has happened. So many questions-

Diane Natale

Heartbreaking. My heart goes out to Andrew's parents.
