Galaxy D. Commander

If you're into Sci Fi and Space Exploration. Give the Mass Effect Trilogy a shot. 👍

sophia (not the first)

yayy, catching up with glow!! your rambles are always SO FUN?? it's like having a facetime with your best friend, but only with the audio lol. anw, goodluck with having your blood drawn. stay healthy!♥️

Yay another ramble 😁😁 I agree with going to movies, there is just something different about watching them in theatres (I got to saw Dune 2 and it just confirmed how much I still love going to the cinemas) In terms of story games I would recommend: Telltales - The Walking Dead Season 1 (works on practically everything [including mac] & is a very good story driven game) If you want to play the Last of Us there are two options realistically (PlayStation or PC - but with PC it has to meet a certain spec level which Macs don’t operate on & it has to be on windows) It’s awesome to hear that you want to get into more cooking. Thanks for everything Glow and I Hope you’re having a wonderful day 😁😁

Triple 9

The most recent TV show I watched was Blue Eye Samurai. It is amazing

Urban Hermit

So if your audios start having characters named Ross, Rachel, Joey and Chandler, now we'll know why. 😅

Urban Hermit

You're lucky, Glow! Most creative people would be delighted if their biggest creative problem was "so many good ideas"! Usually it's just the opposite!! 🙂

If you ever feel like playing the last of us, your “cheapest” choice would be a PS5, it’s a plug and play system and way cheaper then a flagship pc these days…

Chris

You’ve never seen friends yo?!? Rachel tho… 😮‍💨

I’ve been watching Shōgun with my dad. Being all excited like a little kid whenever I understand tiny morsels of the Japanese they speak without the subtitles^^ Outside of that watching a couple new animes from this season and a few older ones (I’ll spare you the details) as if I recall correctly you didn’t really get into those shows. If you want a banger story game, I can HIGHLY recommend Baldurs Gate III. Game of the year from 2023, brilliant story, fun gameplay, pen&paper vibes, endless possibilities, romance if you want it, etc. etc. it is amazing. (Amazing enough that I personally have almost 400h in that game and I know of a few people that have nearly doubled that). If you just want to play it for the story, the lower difficulties are REALLY simple and if something goes a way you don’t want it you can always reload (save often). Oh and you don’t need to know anything about the first two games to enjoy it. I still have no clue what happened in those^^

I love your rambles, they’re so much fun to listen to :) (I just listened to it before work and it made my morning sooo much better ❤️) First of all I’m so glad you had such a great cozy day! And that’s so funny, I’ve been rewatching Friends lately (I saw it for the first time in 2022 I think). I‘m already on the last season though :D And yeah, I had the same issue with the laugh track, but halfway through the first season I didn’t even notice it anymore. So I‘m sure you’ll get used to it too :) As for video game recommendations, I really loved the Mass Effect trilogy. The story is fantastic and it really makes you care about the characters in your crew. And you should definitely play The Last Of Us if you get the chance, it’s absolutely amazing! Playing it on PlayStation would be your best option for it I think :) Also I really get the feeling of being a bit sad when an obsession is coming to an end. As you know I‘m currently reading all of Brandon Sanderson‘s Cosmere books, and I still have a few to go, but I‘ll run out eventually and that’s a bit scary lol. It‘ll probably take me couple of weeks after it to get into something new! And it’s so cool you want to get into cooking more :) Oh my gosh, I want to try these raspberry danishes, they sound so delicious! And finally, good luck with having your blood drawn! I hope it goes really well this time, keeping my fingers crossed for you :)

Honestly i know exactly how you feel about Malls, but for me my thing is i reslly prefer to try on clothes before i buy them because if you buy them online and they dont fit then it becomes a whole other chore to return, and some stores have different policies so you can just get the new item youll have to wait before the refund gets in so you can’t just buy the item again, i just rather try it right there and then 😭 and see im scared of needles so i always pray i dont have to do it if i go to the doctors, it sucks 😭 im reslly glad youre feeling incthe groove for your work flow and youre getting to be outside more often for yourself! You deserve to feel great, youve been on such s roll recently and it doesnt go unnoticed, I cant wait to see what you do next ❤️

Comma28

“Deliver us the Moon” is an all time favourite of mine when it comes to story games. It’s relatively short but very cool and laid back. I think it’s a good “beginners” game, it’s quite simple and has some fun riddle elements :)

samszellem

I can definetly picture the inspiration from friends in your audios to come. Yeah, Monica is the most grounded, for now 👀 If you feel like playing a horror, story-driven game i think SOMA is a good option, if not maybe Uncharted (from the same studio as The Last of Us)

Joy I love rambles they make me so happy🙂😊 By hot dog on a stick do you mean a corn dog or are they two different things and what’s the difference? Is one just a hot dog on a stick with nothing on it and the other one is coated in cornmeal batter? I might’ve answered my own question… I digress My brother watched friends and he also rewatched it so I think you’re gonna love the show because he also loves new girl. I definitely recommend playing the last of us my other brother loves it. I played the last of us 2, I’m not done yet but I like it so far it’s a great game you definitely should try it. I can’t recommend other story based games but I could do some research and give you some recommendations in another ramble or a Q&A 👀 My sister has the same problem when she gets her blood drawn it’s a pain in the ass I completely understand why you don’t like it It’s kinda scary… I see characteristics from the whole gravy family in you… idk how to feel about this anyway that’s all I have to say for now Thank you for sharing I always love listening to you ramble, it makes me feel included Good luck with the blood thing Love you, have a nice day, stay safe and hydrated From the best guy around Gravy 💖

I haven't seen the Last of Us show but what I do know is that the original actors for Joel and Ellie make an appearance in the show as side characters

LHD1999

I’d suggest queen of tears, a recently released Korean series😀

Jim

Hot Dog on a Stick and Sbarro. Classics 😋 Also Friends season 6-7 is like peak Friends so I’m excited for you! And omg all the foods you listed sound amazing, you’re making me hungry lol. Let us know how your raspberry danish turns out! Also if you’re looking for a good theater movie to watch, I really liked Arthur the King, a very feel good movie. Did you see any good movies in the theaters lately?

Looking back on Friends it's neat to see actors play small roles before they were more famous. Currently watching "Death and Other Details" on Disney+. Murder mystery on a the high seas. Slow burning one episode a week to really take it all in. Best story driven game I ever played is The Longest Journey, a point-and-click adventure game from 2000. So, yes, dated graphics but it's available on Steam and will likely run on anything you already have.

Disco Elysium is one of the best modern narrative driven games imo the amazing voice acting and simple gameplay just let you sit back and experience a great story

Les Butler

I listened to your Ramble reluctantly. I am afraid to meet my heros. So many have been disappointments. Not all, but some. Ok, most. You are a hero of sorts. I like romance. The thought of it. Being romantic, though those days were many and full but they are long gone. I am so taken with your performances, in total. From the production value, to the tight scripts with its repartee, humour and of course your amazing performance. There can be no faking nor manufacturing the charm, intelligence, and humour in your work. Your timing is impeccable. Your laughter and emotions so genuine. I love your sense of humour most of all. “I want my pencil back.” “I moved the lamp from the night table to the dresser. You wouldn’t recognize the place.” Great lines. You are undoubtedly a tremendous talent. I expect you know that but, I just wanted to add my voice to the chorus applauding you.

Rhyder Sease

For a story driven game I would recommend before your eyes, it’s short but mighty!

Ben 10

Gaming pc is kinda important if you wanna play a good story a game, at least some of the ones from the past 15 years. Most of the really good ones either don’t release on Mac or a Mac doesn’t have the specs to run it. As for recommendations, maybe trying a telltale’s walking dead, since you mentioned you liked the show.

FiremanDan

You need to play the last of us games. The show was absolute garbage compared to the games. Hands down one of the greatest game series I’ve played

DocCritz

You can buy a console, PS5 to play The Last of Us. The first game pretty much gives you an idea of what the game will be like but the game is soooo good. Book series suggestion: The Gunslinger series by Stephen King. Yes the king of horror. But it’s not a horror book series. Also do you read “older” messages like these? Does it give you a notification?

NEWX7

Kind of late, but I liked this ramble. To answer these questions: Chandler is my favorite FRIEND, but I think Monica and Ross are the best of the FRIENDS group. If you like FRIENDS, then I would also suggest the following TV shows: How I Met Your Mother, Brooklyn 99, and Murder, She Wrote (this one is a cozy murder-mystery rather than a comedy, and is from the 80s/90s) Also, if you want play story-driven video games, I would suggest getting a PS5, and these are the top 3 video game series I would suggest, being my favorites: Metal Gear (military-spy thriller. That being said, the story can be complicated, so if you need some explanation, you can look up lore explanations on YouTube), Resident Evil (zombie survival video game), and Mass Effect (space opera). You can also watch another video-game based TV show called Fallout. P.S. Don’t use Fortnight as a metric for your gaming abilities. I love playing video games, and have played lots of them, and Fortnight is not really a game I enjoy, in part because of the lag, like you said. Some people enjoy it, other don’t
