Hi everyone! If you want to ask me anything for this month's Q&A, comment any questions below and I'll answer them at the end of the month!

Any animal crossing tips from a pro gamer such as yourself?

Galaxy D. Commander

This ain't even really a question, I just wanted to recommend a game too you. You should try out this game called Coffee Talk by Toge Productions. It's a pretty chill cozy game you could play one day. You seem to like those kinda games so I just thought you should give it try. Have a great day 👋

Chieftain

Two things. You suggested that I should call my chilli plant Fabreezio, which made me think of breeze, which in turn made me think of the Faroese word for hurricane “Ódn”. So that’s it’s name now :) Secondly, is an AfterglowGaming secondary channel something that’s a possibility? (I would love to watch you rage at games like Elden Ring lol) Also, sorry for the long comment, but my show recommendation for you is The Chosen ✝️

What was the best day of your life?

isolationSnow

What kind of work does your brother do? Last month you mentioned how he’s moving so South Carolina, you also said he’s planning a trip to Alaska. So I was curious if his work had anything to do with travel.

Simon R.

In your opinion, what is the meaning of life? The reason we are all here?

TakingCactus

What motivational advice would you give to someone? Like how would you tell someone to never give up on something (college, work, etc).

Southern_Eyesore_24

A group of friends and I recently had a conversation about who the best narrator/voice over is in both fiction and real life. We agreed on three people: Morgan freeman, James Earl Jones, and Peter Cullen/Optimus Prime. We all had different opinions on how we would rank the three, with mine being 1. Peter Cullen, 2. James Earl jones, 3. Morgan Freeman. Do you agree with the three we chose? If not, who would the best narrator in your opinion and how would you rank them?

Ineko

1. If you could go on a vacation to anywhere on earth, where would it be and why? 2. If you could have any super power, what would it be and why? 3. What’s the kindest thing a stranger has done for you?

Tae Davis

Definitely would love to get up to 100 Steelbooks one day. A guy can dream 🙂‍↕️ So my first question is what was your most embarrassing moment in grade school? Mine was a bad hair day that surprisingly didn’t spawn any long lasting repercussions. Second question is which decade/period of time would you time travel to if you could?

Tae Davis

Two more if that’s cool. First, what’s the weirdest superstition you’ve ever heard? For me where I’m from, it’s that if anyone sweeps over your feet with a broom you will never get married. Second, what has been the most flattering compliment you’ve ever received?

Terry O

What does an ASMRtist such as yourself listen to when YOU need some help calming down/relaxing? I doubt listening to your voice is as effective for you as it is for us. 😆

PKTV

Hi Glow, thanks for answering my question last month. Got a few more if that's ok. 1- Have you ever seen the series "From"? My friend recommended it to me, and I got engrossed immediately! 2- What drew you to the name Afterglow, and what are your reasons for hiding your identity? (Zero hate, only love, just genuinely curious). 3- Please can you give me some positivity? Some idiots were running around my hometown of Southend wielding machetes and guns in Broad daylight, and I'm kind of losing faith in humanity 😅 Thanks Glow, much love ❤

Najib Sultan

Do you watch anime? and if you do I would recommend Horimiya if you have not seen it. Thanks for all you do.

Just a Toad

Keeping in theme with animal questions, do you have a favorite pet animal? If not, what animal would you pick to keep as a pet? (As if money was no object and you could build a giant enclosure if need be) Also fun animal fact of the month: did you know that there are roughly 500 species of sharks in the world? The largest being the whale shark (can be over 40ft!) and the smallest being the dwarf lantern shark (only 6in!)

Noah

Hey Glow This is a sequel question to my July questions. If one of your audios was turned into a full length movie what would your top 3 choices be?

Knoxville

Hey glow, if you had to pick which audio is your favourite you've made and is there any audios you wish you made

Ben 10

I got a couple: 1) Do you have a favorite villain/antagonist from either a book, movie, or tv show, and why do you like them so much? 2) probably been asked before but do you have a favorite animated show/movie? (And why is it Ben 10) 3) if you could live in any time period, which one would it be and why?

Qohelet

Who is your hero, and why?

ASMR (Glow’s Version)

Which theme do you have more fun with in the creation of your audios: Fantasy or Realism?

OneMore

Do you only play Nintendo games? And if so why? I recently started playing Elden Ring and was wondering if you were open to try the game. Also can you say "Can you imagine an imaginary menagerie manager imagining managing an imaginary menagerie?"

Bailey

Thank you for answering my previous question Ok I have 3 questions 1. What is your favourite food 2. If you could create the perfect first date for you what would it be like (personally anything with ice skating for me) 3. If you were to go back to when you were in high school is there anything you'd want to change. (I'd focus more of my time on studies instead of hockey and surfing)

Pizzazz 🌎 💫 (AKA Lyfëstyle)

Is there anything at this moment in time, something you are looking forward to in the future? Or anything that makes you anxious that you are worried about (good or bad)? Also hopefully by the time you are reading this I hope the album Lyfestylë has been released ❤️

Chieftain

Have you ever been heartbroken because you knew OF a person but there was something in the way of you getting to know each other better? Ps. It really sucks

Dame 💠

Thank you for answering my question last time! My next question and I’m sorry if this has been answered before Do any of your friends or family members know you make ASMR content and if so what do they think? Thank you glow ❤️

yugure

Do you watch anime if so what’s your top 3 anime (looking for recommendations)

redpanda

mike demero, aloe blacc - night in paris (mike demero 80s remix) 👌🏼 will be vacuuming to this when I get home

Raven

Since starting your channel, has there been a certain moment in your life where boyfriend/girlfriend, Family member or a random person you thought knew who you were and if so Like did you get suspicious of them because they dropped a hint or mentioned something about a previous audio you similarly said

Wilsonandco -

Hey glow, Do you listen to any audios yourself from other creators? How does this affect your own audios? - Will

Jalt

Hello, what are your top 3 favorite audios you’ve done?

Jakub

Hi Glow, If there was an "Audio/ASMR Awards" what do you think you'd be most likely to be nominated for? For example like best script, best sound effects, best voice acting, etc. Also in your opinion what audio are you most proud of, or a top 3 if 1 is to hard to decide on. Love Your Work!

Jake

Hey Glow, happy August. So this month’s movie selections I’m going to go with adventure flicks (because of your pirate audio). National Treasure, Raiders of the Lost Ark & Sinbad and the Seven Seas. Can’t wait to hear your suggestion for the month 😁😁

Basti

Hi, I hope you had a good month so far ❤️ Would you consider yourself more of an introvert or an extrovert? Or does it depend on how comfortable you are with the people around you? (That’s how it is for me) Are you still watching Game of Thrones? And if so, what are your thoughts on it? (I just started season two on my rewatch) Have you had a chance to read Tress of the Emerald Sea yet?

Jord Record

Hey Glow. If you had the opportunity to create your own show where you voiced the main character (or one of the main characters) who would you want to be your supporting cast? Also, what would the show be? Also, in response to the pronunciation of my name, Jord and Record rhyme. Bye Bye.

ZeroFactr

Since you don't follow the Olympics, is there an event you do get into? World Cup. Award shows. Westminster Dog Show. Or nothing in particular. And If you say "Christmas in July" I'm unsubscribing Song I'll recommend is Apple Juice by Teddy Swims and I hope you enjoyed the last one

AKDMD

You've mentioned before that you moved around about a dozen times as a kid. What were the reasons why?

Gillian Lasser

Hey Glow hope you're doing great my questions for august are 1) if you had 3 wishes what would you wish for? 2) are you still watching friends? If so how far are you in the show ? 3) how was your August ? 4) what are your song recommendations for this month?

Andreizzz

I’m convinced America is not real, I’ve recently moved here for school and people are strangely nice. Anyways my question is; how did you discover this type of asmr and what was your first impression?

Jake

Hey Glow, here are some fun questions: 1. In better than the movies, Liz had a DVD collection of old rom-coms her mum kept, if you where to make a collection of 3 rom-coms what would they be. 2. What is the best way to make you smile? (I hope this was a decent attempt 😁) 3. What is the first song that pops into you head at this moment in time. Thanks for always doing these Q&As, we really appreciate all that you do for us. I hope you’re having a wonderful day 😁😁

It's me again. According to the Internet, tongue twisters are a great way to practice speech articulation and clarity, so here's some more tongue twisters. Betty Botter bought a bit of butter. “But,” she said, “the butter’s bitter. If I put it in my batter, it will make my batter bitter. But, a bit of better butter will make my batter better.” So she bought a bit of butter better than her bitter butter. To begin to toboggan first buy a toboggan, but don't buy too big a toboggan. Too big a toboggan is too big a toboggan to buy to begin to toboggan. If practice makes perfect and perfect needs practice, I’m perfectly practiced and practically perfect. A lazy lizard lounged on the lovely lavender leaves, licking its lips as it lazily lounged.

Fried Chicken Cutlet

Are you a procrastinator? I'm finding it hard to do things I need to do, but I keep putting it off. Do you have any tips? Thanks in advance!

ZeroFactr

Say his name and he appears. Do you believe in Joe Hendry? IYKYK

Nam Bui

If you watch TV then do you binge a series or slow roll it one episode a day/week?

Grim!

hope you had a great august glow, i’m a bit new but happy to be here. i wanted to ask, what is your perfect day/night like? monthly song rec: oh! tengo suerte - masayoshi takanaka

Aaron

What's your best advice for someone who's down on their luck and trying to turn things around? With spooky season fast approaching, are there any horror movies that you'd like to watch this year? Have you ever seen Cobra Kai on Netflix?

Afterglow ASMR
>>147414590

So sorry, I recorded the q&a before this! But it depends on the series, if it’s a shorter series (like 1 season) I’ll binge it but if it’s a long series (like Friends for example) then I take a while lol, how about you?

Afterglow ASMR
>>147788804

Hi Grim!! I’m so sorry, I recorded the Q&A before this so I didn’t get to answer but my perfect night is probably spent taking a bubble bath and then reading a book in bed with a candle lit, and cooking dinner while listening to soft music :) What’s your dream day/night?

Afterglow ASMR
>>147810258

Aaron!! I’m sorry I missed this one!! I’d say that it is NEVER too late to try, and it’s better to have tried than to not have tried at all. I really wanna watch all the Saw movies and Halloween, and I've seen the first couple episodes of Cobra Kai but I wasn't super into it for some reason!

Grim!
>>147788804

no worries! that definitely sounds very nice and relaxing. my perfect day would probably include a small breakfast, then a nice walk around a park with my camera capturing anything that catches my eyes. Night would probably be the same with dinner, some nice chill music and a game, might even try learning a song on my bass :)

Aaron
>>147810258

No worries! I'm just glad you survived those hiccups! They made you sound kind of drunk which I enjoyed.

Nam Bui

I’m trying to slow roll shows now. I find the characters, story, setting, etc stay longer in my mind. A few years ago when I binged a lot I enjoyed the ride but could not recall many characters or plot points afterwards.
