This month's ramble! Just saying hi & chatting about decorations for my new place, movies I watched recently that creeeeped me out, a skincare product I will never ever touch again, and joining a book club! Nothing of much importance but I hope it's a chill listen 💗 Let me know how your month was!

Two movies I recommend are The Revenant and A Silent Voice. I wasn’t big into anime until I watched A Silent Voice as it hit very close to home. Glad to hear Aftergrowl is on the road to recovery, hopefully all goes well. Also, congrats on the new place!

Well, you sure had an exciting month. Glad to hear little Aftergrowl is doing fine. I don't know if it's the same storm you mentioned, but here in Spain we're dealing with serious wind these days, and there's rain on its way after that. I work from home, so I'm safe, but schools have cancelled classes because of the weather here. Speaking of work, I work as a programmer, and what you said: "Don't fix it if it isn't broken" really got my attention. That's actually one of our most important golden rules.

Congrats on the new place Glow! ⭐️ I have heard of “Weapons” but haven’t watched it yet. Also I’m glad that Aftergrowl is doing ok. Sounds like she just wants to go back to her usual activity and is being stubborn. I am one of the people that got hit with the storm and luckily there was no power loss like others have had. It was more of an ice and sheet storm than a snow storm. Around a week ago, I got the chance to see “Lord Of The Rings” in theaters and it was great. I really love the trilogy and since you mentioned loving fantasy. Lord of the Ring is an absolute must read/watch if you haven’t.

Out of shows: The Mighty Nein and Fallout S2. 9:38 Thats like having a cold and have 1 nosestrill closed ahhhh 11:52 So... Can we get D&D type audio in future? 👀

My January was like this: - Watched Wake up Deadman: Knives Out on New Year eve - Watched the show Dark s1 - Went to Venice for 4 days with my family for holiday - Watched New critical Role animated show Mighty Nein - Currently watching Fallout S2 (peak videogame adaptation) - Created my character for D&D campaign with my friends and got the dice set. In First 15 rolls with dice 20 for testing, i rolled 3 NAT 1s... Oh dear - Treated to bad wheater 5 out 7 days every week - Every day closer to being 21...when did time move so fast? Its still 2018 right?.... RIGHT!?? - My dad showed me old newspapers... From 1990s, when the war broke out, when croatia was recognised as an independent state and when we won the war. And I wasn’t even born yet. So I litearly read and touched the newspapers that are older than me

Hey, congrats on the new place! I’m supposed to be hunting for a new place too, but procrastination is killing me lol I unfortunately had the luxury of watching The Substance and Weapons in theaters. Truly a terrifying moment having Benedict Wong sprint at you on the big screen. All in all, it’s been a solid start to the year; just got promoted at work and have a couple weddings coming up. Wishing your pup a smooth recovery, and you a quick escape from the writer’s slump!

Glad you are coming out of your winter slump, likewise! Marty Supreme is a must watch right now. If you liked Weapons, Barbarian was made by the same director and is my personal favorite. I liked the substance but I could never watch it again, idk how they made dennis quaid eating shrimp the most disgusting part but it was impressive lol

A great fantasy book is 'Perdido Street Station'. I never cared for fantasy until I read that. It's like, steam-punk fantasy.

The puppy update even makes me sad for her but what's best is best. I was gonna say ask your vet about a joint supplement. It's mostly for giant dogs like mine but it can help

Sounds like an allergic reaction no? Maybe compare the ingredients of the skincare products. Might be useful in the future, even if you don’t keep using it

Adding different vegetables with the celery juice will help make it not so gross. Some of my faves to add are carrots and cucumbers to help mellow it out.

I’m glad your puppy is recovering ❤️‍🩹 I’m sure the surgery will turn out great. Now, about movies: I recently watched Eternity, a film starring Elizabeth Olsen, and I really liked it. Personally, I feel that Lizzie Olsen’s movies tend to leave you thinking for hours; they often have spiritual and philosophical themes that require you to take the time to analyze them. Eternity in particular is a kind movie, in which you’ll probably leave the theater smiling. It came out very recently, so I’m sure it’s still in theaters if you’d like to check it out.
