Hey guys, I sound a little tired from lack of sleep but here's a ramble just chatting about moving, my puppy's knee surgery, shows I've been watching, and a possible skinwalker/lizard person/robot living in my new apartment building (let me know your theories)

I actually did run into that tiktok account a few weeks ago lmao. Your channel was mentioned in a comment and it got highlighted as a search, so I clicked it and that account was what popped up. It’s like a hundred videos of trees getting cut down, I feel like it has to be a bot account

Turned 21 on the start of the month, brother and i helped our dad start renovaiting our ship, removed the entire roof, yesterday failed traffic rules test and Returned to playing helldivers 2 after 2 months brake from the game, now reached 150 LV after 400 HOURS of playing

My take on your mystery guy: First of all, it’s not me, I promise^^ The vegetables are a dead giveaway 😂 Second, judging by the fact he seems to live in the same building, the likelihood of running into each other while going to high frequented places near your home is actually not that unlikely. Especially after it happened a couple times, since that tells you that he seems to have a similar internal or external schedule as you for getting things done. If it bothers you, you could try to shift when you do things and see if that reduces the times you see him. Third, from what you tell me I would assume that he is mentally ill, but probably not in an unstable way. Since the oddities are pretty obvious the likelihood of him being locked up if he was dangerous are pretty high. So I wouldn’t worry too much, but I also would keep a safe distance and perhaps carry a countermeasure you have access to just to be safe. Was he overall jerky in his movements? The way you described him walking strange and such and that he flipped your friend off out of nowhere made me think that one (but probably not the only) mental oddities might be a form of Tourette syndrome. Makes people jerk uncontrollably and also do rude gestures seemingly out of nowhere. This could obviously be completely wrong since I’m neither a psychologist, nor have I examined it myself, but it’s always something to keep in mind that things like that exist and they might not be as rude as one might think. Or he’s just an eccentric dick. But never judge too early. You don’t have to (and on this case probably shouldn’t) find out the reasoning behind everything, but it’s important to keep those possibilities in mind to be sure not to judge others more harshly than they deserve 😊 Oh and I hope your puppy fully recovers soon and that you feel at home in your new place quickly 😉

Sooo, my yesterday night self thought it was a good idea to listen to a monthly ramble right before going to sleep... As in: already half asleep. I was barely able to process that you had an alarm being in strange sync with a WiFi installation, and that you got mad at a fictional character. But hey! We get something good out of that: even your casual voice is tingly and relaxing.

I know I'm really late to this, but I'd be super interested to hear your thoughts on Normal People! I've watched it a couple times, and I think it's such a good representation of the dynamics of relationships and the misunderstandings that come with them, as well as just growing up and navigating life in general. I have the book it's based on too, but I've yet to get around to reading it

YES agreed!! I love how authentic all of the conversations feel, it doesn’t feel like I’m watching fictional characters, it feels so realistic. And even though the pacing is slow compared to most TV shows I was engaged the whole time

Oh absolutely, all the acting is so incredible, it's such a beautifully laid out story. It feels like you're on the journey with the characters too, by the end of the show I felt like the first couple episodes were an age ago, there's so much juicy (and often times gut-wrenching) character development. It is quite slow paced for sure, especially the beginning, but I think it worked really well for that kind of TV show. I'm glad you enjoyed it!! I've heard Aftersun is an amazing movie with similar vibes to Normal People if you're ever in the mood for something like that, I haven't watched it personally but I keep meaning to!
