Need to listen to this for a palette cleanser after listening to the “Your Ex-Girlfriend Tries to Make You Jealous” audio. Last five minutes was a little iffy for me. I get why the speaker was frustrated at the listener for how they were acting, but saying those things a day after was too much, but A+ for immersion made my stomach knot

Aw how sweet! And it’s kinda cute how they had a friendship box. I’ve still got that birthday card, funnily enough. This is slightly embarrassing, but I’ve written letters like this too in my own life, as recently as last year. Most of them were to this one gal because frankly, I was infatuated. She was aware of how I felt too, and was thankfully respectful about it. It was a way to express myself in a deeply vulnerable way without the… I guess consequences? And it did help get through all that after things never really materialized. Yes, it’s a sad story, but I’ve moved on for the most part. It taught me the difference between love and infatuation too, and I’m glad I am at least aware there’s a difference. :)

I like to think that everything happens to us for a reason and exactly at the right time. Sometimes we should wait enough for things to end well and in our favor. I mean although feelings like this at 13 are really sweet and to be respected, but it really might not last long enough and blossom into something great. Maybe I'm thinking about it too much and get the story completely wrong but i really love this subtle context. Great audio as always, Glow!
