Btw in case you are curious: under German law the landlord letting you in would still make it trespassing since without special requirements a landlord can’t intrude on rented out property without talking to the tenant and get permission, even though under certain circumstances the permission can be forced, but never without the tenants knowledge. So all in all: not breaking and entering, but still trespassing 👨‍⚖️
