I'm planning an audio where we go on a vacation and I'm trying to choose between Paris and Hawaii! Help me decide? :)

P.S. If any of you live there or have travelled there, tell me all about it in the comments! I haven't been to either place so any insight would be appreciated lol. In fact, tell me about any place you've travelled to!

P.P.S. Happy New Year 💗

Been to Paris, it is very visually appealing (landmarks and overall architecture is awesome - I spent a full day walking around the city taking pictures from films) has relatively great weather and there is a very big focus on museums and traditions (there are lots of lovers spots - padlock fences always come to mind). If you want more detail, I’m happy to provide 😁😁

As for Hawaii, never been myself however I’ve been to countless tropical holidays and these are always my favourite 😁😁

In 2019 I was in Maui. There is a bay there called Kapalua Bay. The whole thing is actually a resort with a hotel and a damn beautiful beach. This is particularly recommended for people who want to snorkel. Happy new Year for you

I would always choose a domestic vacation versus international, but my ideal vacation spot would be to go back to Kentucky and revisit the land between the lakes

I've been to both locations. Between the two, Hawaii stands out as the best. There's great food, the surfing and catamaran rides are awesome. Can't remember the exact name of it, but there's a place on one of the islands known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. Heck, I think there's even a location off one of the coasts where you can scuba dive and see manta rays up close and personal. Good times :)

Hawaii ia cool!and if you want to get into the mood. you can listen to this song:Sad in Hawaii - Claire Rosinkranz. her voice is very relaxing.😎

I can’t say I been to either location but if I were to choose, despite it being murder on my hair, I would love to go to Hawaii! Just respectfully, since I know that the Natives have been through enough and I’d rather support them than big business there, and if that means I can’t bc it’s expensive to be there then I’ll just not do so for now 🙌🏽

As for where I been, Finland is where my best friend lives and I’ve been there twice and I love it there so much. Then architecture, the people, the history, Finland is so unique and beautiful and clean, and it’s prominently colder climate so even when I went during the summer it felt perfect to me. I would live there if I could ❤️

hawaii is just so cozy and pretty if you can picture the word relaxing as a location, it’s hawaii

Hawaii cause the image of beaches, palm trees and hammocks is seared into our collective consciousness. I will say though, the best sandwich I ever had in my life was in Paris.

Haven’t been to Paris, but have been to France (in Nice in south France). The place was quite nice, BUT most of the people there were so incredibly rude! I was at a summer language school and the host parents where really nice, but outside of them the only people that didn’t berate me for not speaking French properly where the other students. Even the person from the school yelled at me for asking a fellow student in German what something he said meant. We went to a market and didn’t know the correct words for some fruit we wanted to buy. Never been insulted by someone trying to sell something before that. I could go on, but I think the point is sufficiently made 😅 Not saying all French people are like that, but over all a horrid experience and I personally will never again set foot in that country if I can help it 😖

I chose Paris for a few reasons, I've been there but the visit was far too short! I want way more time to explore places like the Louvre, Sacre Ceur, Eiffel tower, and other landmarks especially with a romantic partner - a picnic on the grass with a nice view in the "city of love" has also been inceptioned in me thanks to movies and tv shows 😳 I also chose it because the other option is Hawaii, and as much as I would love the experience the beauty the archipelago has to offer, the indigenous people of Hawaii are crystal clear about not wanting tourists to come, as the tourist-industry there is ruining local climate and nature. for instance, residents of Hawaii are specifically told to ration things like water "so the tourists can use as much as they want" so I can't in good conscience support it as a destination, even virtually 😕

Hawaii is literal paradise. Can’t wait to go back again.

I have been to Paris when I was younger with my parents and sisters. We spent a few days there before we went to Italy (Venice, Tuscany, and Rome. Italy was my favorite stop on our trip) and we spend about half the day just walking around the Louvre and looking at all of the art. It was really nice walking around and seeing all of the sites and going to different cafes. There are definitely plenty of cafes if you were to set the scene for it take place at one.

Been to Paris before and it was awesome but way too short. Best memory was me and my dad getting lasagne while my mom had to do “shopping” at Lafayette. Loved the Eiffel Tower (even tho it was foggy when we went up), and the art in the louvre is actually very good once you avoid the Mona Lisa coz there’s like 500 people gathered there. And thank my lucky stars I saw the notre dame before it went up in flames. Would definitely visit again if I have the chance. I would love to visit versailles

Just returned from Macau and Japan for my Christmas vacation. Different vibes, but overall very pleased. Back to reality is tough tho

Since I'm from Paris, I would gladly talk to you about the city but given how the poll is going, I think you need more of a Hawaï person. Let me know if you still need to hear about Paris tho !

Can't believe Paris is losing that bad

Carolina Beach is relaxing and clean! Million dollar beach houses for miles.

Hawaii is nice as long as you stay away from the overcrowded tourist areas. The beach is nice and the water is warm and clear. I much prefer Alaska. The wildlife, mountains, northern lights, and other stuff were all amazing.

Paris is an absolute shithole. Been there. It’s dirty and there are homeless people everywhere
