Hey everyone! I’ve been painting a lot of black and drab colors for commissions lately, so I wanted to do something with more saturated tones. I’ve had this Captain America mini assembled but unpainted since the first MCP Core Set released, and now that he’s seeing a lot more table time, it was finally time to give him a coat of paint.

I hope you enjoy the guide! If you have any questions about the process for this mini, feel free to drop them here.

Thanks, as always, for your support!~Kav

I found the pizza slice description of creating the reflections on the shield to be very helpful! I also appreciate that you got some paint where it wasn't supposed to be but left it in. It makes me feel better about doing the same thing myself!

Haha, it definitely helped that I had pizza for dinner the night I painted the shield :D I’m glad you found value in me leaving that in. Letting mistakes slide when they’ll be painted over later is something I’ve been trying to be more mindful of, since stopping to fix every brush slip tends to drag out my projects way more than necessary.
