Hey everyone,

It's been a bit of a frustrating month on the tutorial front.

The original plan was to make a pair of guides, similar to the Daughters of War tutorials, using my Necron minis. Unfortunately, I ran out of a few paints I needed and wasn't able to get replacements in time, so I had to put that project on hold.

Instead, I switched to painting an Ariadna Scout because I thought a camouflage tutorial would be useful for you guys. I'm happy with how the camo pattern itself turned out, but I'm not really happy with the miniature as a whole. It just feels a little flat to me. I did keep all the photos from the painting process though, so I could still turn it into a guide if that's something you'd like to see. Let me know!

That brings us to the third contender: a Universal Guard Shock Sergeant.

This one ended up taking way longer than it should have because I was feeling a bit burned out after the first two projects didn't go according to plan. That said, I'm really happy with how it turned out. I was going for a SEAF trooper-inspired color scheme from Helldivers, and I'm especially happy with how the blue armor came out. If I end up painting a few more of these, I might even put together a Fast-Track guide for the scheme.

Anyway, that's where things are at for now. I think the Shock Sergeant ended up being worth the extra time, and the guide for it will be out soon.
