Curious what size brush you use for the detail work on the shield/etc?

For the wood grain effects I used a size 2 so I wouldn't have to constantly reload the brush while painting those long lines. For the candles and the metal bits I switched to a size 1.

Haha thanks! I don't usually use brushes below a 0 very often because I can only get one or two brush strokes before the paint starts drying on the tip and that drives me insane. That said I do have a size 0 liner brush, which is a super super thin brush with longer bristles. As the name suggests it's supposed to be used for panel lining, but it's also been really handy for doing really thin lines and painting eyes.
