What what does Stephanie think about Mina's choice? Is she ok with Mina taking such a huge risk behind her back?

None of this is really visible here, but this took a little longer to get out as I realized that the layout of Stephanie's room didn't make any sense. The wall the window is on, is techincally not an outside wall. So the next time you see Stephanie's room, it may look a little bit different.

I know that seems not remotely important compared to what else is going on here.

How do you feel on the evloution of their 'friendship'?

I honestly haven't paid attention to the setting layouts. The characters and story sufficiently grab my attention.

There are a lot of backgrounds where it doesn't matter where it is just a color with nothing special. I've been going in to put more work into settings we are going to be in more often. Prepping them for use. I realized the layout was entirely wrong.

Weirdly, “shut up and f*ck me” has never worked as a pickup line for me

roseleaf

I don't know if it's a pick up line if they are already shirtless in your bedroom. :)

The entire situation is weird and I don't care for the 'romantic' line, as it comes off as creepy. Honestly I forgot Mina even existed. The only real plus for me here is the fact that we're now away from the tired 'guy transforms into a woman and ends up in a sexy lesbian relationship' trope.

The whole situation seems really sudden and coming out of nowhere. I was expecting a gradual escalation during Steph’s trip, at the most.

This was a bit of a way of letting Steph have some hetro sex without adding new characters who are going to vanish after a bit. Mina even acknowledges that this can easily be seen as creepy. Her only saving grace is that Steph is into it.

I've had the idea for a while, and it was always going to be sudden and a bit of a surprise for Stephanie. Mina hints to it a bit when we last see her and limiting down Steph's options for her first time with a guy. There aren't many options that are not Mina. Originally Alex was going to do this. And it felt like no one really liked her enough, and would be a lot to invest into the character without interest in a good payoff. So Mina stepped up to the plate. Mina is low key kinda into Steph from the moment they meet. Mina also asks Steph to be her date to the wedding. Not go with her, or be her plus one. But specfically 'date'.

They can have a nice little moment.

Well, that's a fun development.

thanks! and welcome aboard!

Thank you. I am but a poor jobless teenager, so I probably won't be able to pay this every month, but I'm happy to be here while I am. You may be my favourite tg author.

Huh? You think "guy transformed into woman and ends up in sexy lesbian relationship" is a trope? I always felt that "guy transformed into woman and ends up in relationship with a sexy guy" was the trope. I've been reading gender transformation stories since I was a teen in the early 00's and so many stories had the man turned woman end up with a guy, sometimes for the flimsiest of reasons (like "oh, I now have estrogen going to my brain, so I guess that means I'm attracted to men now"). I never thought of it at the time, but looking back at it, it feels so heteronormative. That's why, these days, I usually enjoy a story/comic more when they have the man turned woman character end up in a relationship with a woman.

Mr. Domino

They're both tropes, but you see the lesbian one more often now. And I have no hard statistics to back this up but from my experience most MtF stuff is guys wanting to be woman and in a relationship with a woman. There's a myriad of reasons but it largely boils down to 'its sexy' and 'oh that's hot'. Again, myriad reasons but a lot of people like this genre because it's a sex fetish thing, they read this content with a special sock. I don't, and I've been reading TG stuff for pretty much the same amount of time you have during the same time period. In reality my fascination with TF stuff started with Aladdin, because I had an awful childhood and the ability to wish myself away or into a completely different person was an escape for me. So that's why I prefer it when TG stories don't just turn into sex romps or tired out tropes. I like when it explores different stuff, which is why I am so much more interested in Lexi's story than Stephanie or Young-Mi orwhoever she identifies with. Sure I wanted her to end up in a relationship with a guy and basically turn into the opposite of how she wanted to make Steph into, but it's been very interesting so far because it's not playing entirely to the regular tropes.
