Jumping straight in, there is something that might seem different from the previous pages we have featured in the commentary. There are no words in the first page.

This happens probably more than I would like to admit. I don't know what is being said while I'm drawing the page. I know what is going on, but I'm writing the dialog while I'm drawing. There are older pages where I hand wrote the words on the page to remind myself of what I want to say when I'm doing the words.

Alot of these pages are continuing to establish the fallout form Steph's trade. It's likely the biggest trade she's taken in a long time, and I wanted to make sure we get to see how it's effecting her. Some people picked up on the small things quickly. Such as Young-mi switching to metric, and some of her word choices defaulting to the localization as opposed to their western analog.

I did initially have Young-mi say Manga instead of Manhwa. I was kind of right and kind of wrong with that one. I was really looking for her to be referencing Eastern comics. Both Manga and Manhwa terms come from the same etymology, and I could see a translation of Young-mi speaking about local comics being translated to Manga. But ultimately made the sense since the content of Manga and Manhwa are different in content, like comic books also is different in content (even if comics is a much larger different).

Ultimately we are leaving Young-mi comfortable in her in skin, language and her environment as we finish this batch of pages.
