The chat at the dinner continues as some information is given to Victory. I think she took this well, right?

I know a couple people called Victory needed to be told last week, and you are absolutely ahead of me. :)

Also we get a proper explanation for Victory's outfit.

I feel like this is something that happens to Victory a lot

roseleaf

it's a lot of mental stress dealing with Lexi and Steph

Mr. Domino

Not only was it foolish, but it was extremely unprofessional of her to do a trade. It doesn't matter what her wife told her, Victory should have remained outside of the nonsense. It's her job to ensure the law is upheld for her clients, not be their friend.

Natalia

Victory is a human being. There’s no ethics rule about simply being friends with a client. It’s not like she’s gonna stop giving them good legal advice just because they’re friends. Also, isn’t she working pro-bono anyway?

Mr. Domino

As big as this case is, she can't afford to mess up like she has and needs to stay as professional as possible. Sure, there's nothing saying that she can't be friends, but honestly it's unprofessional of her to do so. Keep personal engagement at arm's length, focus on the job, don't be stupid and get a boob job just because her wife said so and she doesn't know how to deal with peer pressure.
