A month later and Lexi is on the job and working as a secretary. She seems to be doing good whether or not she actually likes the job.

It's just likely more complex then that. Steph likely has an autopay set up for her part of the rent, bills, etc. that is still running even with her out of the country. Lexi has likely felt the need to buy all new clothes, and just her normal expenses. Without income, she's starting to run on empty. She doesn't have fear of being evicted anytime soon. She has a good support system. She just doesn't have extra funds beyond necessities.

Yeah but I figured steph has to be getting lots of extra money to where she could help, maybe Lexi is too proud and needs to be self sufficient though

Ome.. we don't know how much Young Mi / Stephanie has talked to Lexi.. i would suspect quick text or emails.. but would they go in to Financials?
