Lexi Rethinks the Circus | Sketch (Patreon)

After watching Digital Circus, I noticed some similarities between Open Trade's Lexi and one of the characters from The Amazing Digital Circus. Since I previously did a little sketch of Lexi as Pomni, I thought a quick revisit would be fun.

I do watch a lot of animation, and starting to get more and more anime into the mix. I'm excited to see more from Glitch in the future.

Is there any animation you would suggest?

Lexi is definitely not as bad. lol.

Jax has absolutely no redeeming qualities. One big reveal that still felt like it came out of nowhere doesn't excuse all the MONSTROUS things Jax did to others who did NOT deserve it. Jax got what they deserved, and STILL got off easy. I don't understand how anyone could like the character after the Finale, and frankly, how they could have EVER liked the character to begin with. Lexi liking Zooble is better. Zooble was SUCH a powerhouse of a character for all the right reasons. Sorry if this makes anyone mad, but I despise Jax, even before it was revealed how much an actual abuser the character was. Trauma is not an excuse to act like that.

I think that is a totally acceptable take. Getting to know a character and understanding them. Or even empathizing with them isn't the same as liking them. Jax did so much damage that there isn't any other fate for them. While I think they made a path to undo an abstraction in the episode, that's not a path for Jax. At least not at this time.
