Here we are. The last batch of pages for Con Artist. We will do the longer release this month. 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th. will help me out making sure everything works out.

But soon we will be at the end.

It's weird, I'm also ending a D&D campaign at the same time. It's just time for a lot of things to end and for new things to form.

A final roll of the dice for Gwen, then - for now! Hopefully no dragons will appear...

Lisa Thomas

Now I am wondering, will we find out that perhaps is the owner/manager of this coffee shop? I have to admit there are so many questions that may be left unanswered, at least for the foreseeable future. I wonder what surprises well find in the next few days.

Oh my d&d group is getting a dragon. It feels required.

I'll answer this one directly. This is coming out of her drunken rant from a while ago where she says she is a batista. There seems to be a pattern of girls of Gwen's fame level. A star at the convention but still needs a day job or part time job to close the gap on money.

"Batista is a Spanish or Portuguese surname (although in Portuguese more common in the spelling Baptista), literally meaning "Baptist" (the one who administers Baptism, as per John the Baptist). It is also used as a middle name," Wikipedia tells us, also mentioning the character Angel Batista in the TV series 'Dexter.' A Barista is the coffee shop worker - unless Gwen actually meant a barrister, "a type of lawyer in common law jurisdictions"...

Is it just me, or has Gwen gotten even shorter? She was pretty close in height to Stacey in the previous issue.

Any difference is on my end. I was trying to keep the difference the same as before. I think Stacy is like 4-5 inches taller.
