I am more familar with whore. Sometimes I pick a lesser heard phrase because it sounds more interesting in my head.

Something tells me he did this in reaction to Stephanie getting a nurse's education. I'm curious, What's his underlying motivation for all of these trades? Other than the over trot and stereotypical “ Weird Science” motivation of creating a hot girl.

He's hinted to it a couple times, I think. He's also said a lot of things that have nothing to do with this. But he ultimately does have a goal.

Hmm, I know thought bubbles are somewhat out of vogue in comic circles; however, what are your thoughts on them, Roseleaf? That may help to clarify a character's actions. Or lead to further mystery and intrigue depending upon their use.

It's not really my style. I'm not against them. I have and will use them. But they are something I use sparingly. I tend to lean a bit more on film. So there will be longer static shots where the characters may move, but the "camera" doesn't. I'm fairly happy with what Xavier has said and done in line with his motivations. I did notice that there was a statement from Xavier, a few pages back, I thought would have gotten a lot of attention, but it went unnoticed. So I've been looking for ways of continuing that thread and gradually making it louder until it's a full reveal.

Interesting; thank you for the clarification on your artistic process and influences. I always find that quite fascinating. I find that's something easily found or film and television but not so much for visual arts such as comics. I have reread this comic from the beginning to the most recent post. However, I haven’t picked up on those threads/comments that Xavier said. I will have to go back and pay closer attention to his character. Thank you for hinting at his motivations. It increases the reread ability of comics.

It's one of those things where I feel if it is just said (or thought), it's going to come off a bit forced. But the more it's hinted to over time that when it fully comes out, that it makes entire sense in context.
