Playing around with the idea of building a comic story around some D&D players. Still fleshing out the idea. So these 4 caps I'm going to make won't link up perfectly as I work on knocking the idea around. There are some world building and rules I'm still working on.

But hopefully it's still fun for you all.

What Species (new term for Race in D&D) and Class combo do you like to play or like to see?

Paladin all day every day. Species - I'll be boring and say human. Although I am a man of many alts in mmorpgs so I definitely would have multiple characters of different races and classes

Satyr rogue!

A bard is always nice to see, especially combined with elf variants like an Aladdin or a Sea elf

*A lady satyr rogue, of course!

Aforementioned barbie barbarian sounds cool Also Drow, Shifter, and Tiefling sound cool.

There are a bunch of fun elf variants out there. I've been playing a wood elf. Not the series, but still fun.

I keep wanting to play a Satyr Paladin, but the game keeps dying.

Sometimes vanilla human paves the way for fun later on.

I have not gotten to play a Shifter yet. They seem cool.

I have thought of giving D&D a try but never have really gotten to the point of finding a group. Making characters and coming up with backstories is fun though. Especially when I tailor it to how those rolls go. But yeah, I have looked up paladin before and I was amazed at how much more there is to it then just how they fight. Mainly with the oaths think. My experience has always just been here is a holy warrior and not much beyond that. The oaths really add more flavor to it. A Also I would not be surprised if there are stuff that let you change races. As the idea of an Elf paladin does intrigue me. So used just playing as a human, dwarf, or blue space goat in WoW. Although I do love my Blood Elf paladin

Czarzhan

I've played all sorts of characters over the years. One of my earliest was a human Mage/Psionicist (variant AD&D 1st Ed) named Czarzhan. His son (whom I actually started playing before his dad) was a half-elf fighter/magic-user named Ryand'r. And his only child was another F/MU named Zed (for Zaedron, then Zaedra) who changed genders when she hopped campaigns, but really didn't care.

Let’s go for something unexpected; an orc wizard or bard!

Oddly enough, fiancée,Alyssum, made an orc wizard for me to play in her campaign.

Thats a fun combo. I love the mix of fighting and magic.

There are some homebrew items for changing a character's species. I have a few bookmarked for a campaign to use them in some day. Sometimes it's hard to find a DM or group that will let you do that.

Ravyn

my absolute favorite character waws a Gnome Barbarian, she was the best, we even got her a st bernard mount. Plus she was super low charisma, she was stupidly overconfident going into fights.
