Working on some new stuff. I can see our tg change happening with magic or with costumes. I'm leaning a certain way, but I'm curious what you call think. 

It's informal as I may just go the direction I'm already considering, regardless of the results. But it's good to know how people feel.

Could you clarify? Do you mean the costumes are just very realistic, or that they operate via super-science? And by super-science I'm thinking a chemical/hormonal/technological means that we don't have today to change someone.

today's tech with what we have right now. But professional make up artists doing the applications/costuming. And for an example, more of a F1nn5ter and not drag.

I have fireballed my barbarian sooo many times, but I give them Bardic Inspiration first so they pass the save.

I'd say it depends a lot on the tone you're going for. When things are lighthearted both options work.
