EDIT 2: I see a lot of love for Option 11, but also some confusions as I see some people thinking it is bangs and some seeing it as pulled back. It was intended to be pulled back. So I did a couple more quick sketches to show a pulled back vs bangs above. 

I already did sketches for Steph's hair update (next week), I leaned pretty hard into bangs for her to go with a bit of a Betty Paige look.

EDIT: Updated all the options with color to keep it fair.

Lexi is on her way to the salon to get a look that "fits" her more. So before she gets some red locks, I did some testing of different looks as seen above. Some are just different styles of the same cut. Pulled back, or in a bun or with a barret. Some of them are cut a certain way or have bangs or remain short.

Take a look. What looks the most fun to you?

12 is the standout "how do I deal with this?!" style. 11 is the "I shall tame you by any means necessary." I like 12 the best. 2, 3, and 12 seem to give the best vibes of living with curly and fine hair overall. Honestly, anything that's at or past the collarbone is acceptable in my book.

When I close my eyes and envision a conversation with her (considering all of the panels to date) I can see her with 10 or 12. All of the hairstyles are good, those are the ones I can see her with. One that you don't have that would look good is a long swept ponytail over one of her shoulders.

7 or 9 no way to leave the chance out to go full Merida style. Also this could be the reason why Steph keeps some kind of haircolor, when she convinces Lexie to go with the bright red and Lexie insists on "only if you keep color X"

Yep, it is an active choice that this isn't a poll. More of a conversation. I like the feedback, but art kind of shifts and drifts and finds a right spot over time. So I dont want to hold myself to a specific thing.

I say number 11 without bangs. And maybe this is unintentional; however, I say the black stripe across the top of the head, which I know is the outline of her skull, could indicate a headband. I think that would look smart.

I was actually intending a headband on the thicker line. Worlds strongest hairband could do the job too. :)

Yeah, number 11 with bangs, but maybe a little shorter than in the redraw. Above the arrows a little. With the headband.

I like all the looks, I like #11. I just don’t see how hair that curly can have bangs that look straight like that? Would Lexi straighten her bangs every day?
