Our girls finally leave the salon with their new looks. Where should they go next?

Will there be an update on Friday? Who knows!

I don’t know if Stefanie was trying to be sarcastic with the comment about Lexi visiting particular bars. However, in some ways, I can still genuinely sense their friendship. I wonder if they will ever sit down and discuss their feelings towards each other as friends and the journey they’ve been on over the last while.

Lexi just needs to go out into the world and be brave

Rockhopper

Lexi isn’t naughty, she’s just drawn that way.

That’s an interesting point to bring up and it really depends how you view this series. On one hand, it can be read as a fantastical romp about the potential use of nano technology, and on the other it can be read as a deep character exploration about identity. Both of these characters arrived at this point through entirely different paths. One was “forced” upon a character and the other “chose” their situation. What does it say about them and their respective reactions? From a pure writing perspective, character growth can be shown through how they change. Usually, this is done by showing how their initial belief or what they wanted was wrong. (For example, I enter into evidence almost every Pixar film - I could heap a whole bunch more into the evidence bin, Loki, Geralt of Rivia, Tony Stark from the MCU, I could go on, but I won’t…) When all is said and done, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Lexi gives back her trades and Stephanie keeps hers. It would work as a interesting dyad - and deepen their friendship having both gone through an experience and arrive at two entirely different conclusions.

now the hair matches the height and voice . with all of that you will get quite a few free drinks.

I wonder if anyone will get Lexi just the right outfits for clubbing 1940s style.

Rockhopper

With Stephanie’s contacts? Absolutely. And if she’s looking for someone to play patty cake with, I volunteer as tribute.

Wow, Lexi's gone thru quite the growth spurt to be shoulder-height with 6'3 Steph!

Hair throws off my stuff sometimes. Let's say there is a ramp. :)

I'm sure there is a good scottish bar. He'll, even the Irish bar would welcome her.

roseleaf

Yes. But will the laws of TG fiction allow it?

Rockhopper

Probably not, but I think there’s room for true art in the space. *Not to imply that well meaning TG sex romps aren’t art, they are, but often they lack plot or depth. If Lexi were to appear in a cute Spider-Man bikini ala Mary Jane Watson, I would not decry it as not having merit, especially if she wins a Cosplay contest. You know, plotty things.

Natalia

Maybe she’ll change her fate, would ya?

Natalia

They’re the panel breaking duo

For the most part, I kind of go for the story I want. The Lexi part mentioned before has an element of something I previously pitched for TGC before and was one of the rare rejections I had on an idea. I think it's something interesting, but I also know it is something that brings out the pitchforks.

Rockhopper

The last thing anyone wants is for you to be chased with pitchforks. (Unless you’re into that, then have fun!) [Here’s the part of my response that is really well thought out, full of persuasive arguments and cogent points - but I’m swapping it out with this because the last thing I want to do is litigate the artistic process…. So here’s a stupid joke instead…] A guy walks into a bar and asks for fruit punch. The bartender says “Sure. Just get in line.” The guy looks over and gets confused because there’s no punchline.
