I apologize again for the delayed rewards. By this time it may start sounding like an excuse but I swear this year has been one of the most difficult years ever.

Sadly, my wife's mother suffered a major health setback the previous week and she cannot take of herself anymore. Shana left to help taking care of her during an unknown time period. Since in her abscence I need to take care of the house chores, the kids and my work completely alone, my work schedule has been drastically reduced. I've tried working extra time during the nights but honestly I have been too tired to keep that going. So there's a big possibility that I may not be able to finish one or two monthly rewards on time.

I'll figure out how to better organize myself, but in the meantime, I just wanted to let you know one of the main reasons why some rewards have been delayed like that.

I'll keep you all updated on how this situation evolves.

Sorry once more for the inconveniences.

No need to Apologize :) Hope everything gets better

Oh man, that's awful news! I hope things work out for you all and that Shana's mom will be okay. Take all the time you need. We'll still be here when you get back.

The_Corn_Crib

You have no reason to apologize. Take care of yourself. Hope things get better for you. : )

OmniOtter

Take care of your family first. I wish you all well.

I can only second the others here. Your family comes first, and I whish you all the best. Take all the time you need and don't overwork yourself. I think we can all do without one or another reward. :)

Take whatever time you need for your loved ones, Deer; family comes first—we can wait.

Things like this happen. You need to take care of yourself and your family first and foremost. If you have to push some things back that's perfectly okay as far as I'm concerned. We can be patient and when you can get to it is soon enough ❤️

Don't sweat it, life happens.

If it helps, think about it like an office job. You would expect a good employer to offer adequate leave, sick, and vacation time. You would expect a boss to understand your situation. And you would expect your job to keep you as an employee and keep paying you when there are hard times. As long as you don't just ghost them, they have a responsibility to you as much as you do to them. Making money through Patreon shouldn't change any of that.

Its fine, we all understand life happens. you have nothing to apologize for. Take the time to rest and take care of yourself.

pǐ jí tài lái(lit. “extreme adversity leads to prosperity”. It's used nowadays to express hope and optimism during difficult times as life's challenges often precede success in some form or another.)

Thanks! Hopefully things will settle down for the best soon. We'll see :)

Thanks for the good wishes! I can still work, but certainly less daily hours than usual. Knowing I have your support really lifts a weight from my shoulders :)

dark_blue_workshop

Many thanks for the amazing support! I still can work a few hours every day, but certainly less than usual. I should be able to finish one or two things yet.

dark_blue_workshop

Thanks for the support! I still need to work the limited hours I have available, but I'm considering dropping one of the usual rewards in order to catch up. Hopefully I can finish the rest of the rewards in a reasonable time.

dark_blue_workshop

Thanks for the feedback! I really do consider this as a job. So no, I'm not going to ghost anyone. I intend to be back in full as soon as things go relatively normal once more. Though I have no idea when that will be :/

dark_blue_workshop

Thanks for the support! I really appreciate it. I'll keep posting stuff when I have it though. But chances are I'm going to miss at least one reward this month, sadly :/

dark_blue_workshop

I'd like to think positive here and imagine that in fact better times will come after this. We'll see what happens :)

Family comes first, Blue :)

Damn. I am really sorry to hear that man. I hope things get better for you guys soon. You have nothing to apologize for. Just try not to overdo it and burn yourself out. Keep in mind you do have limits, and your body will show you what they are if you push it too far. You and your family's well being and health are the most important things. We'll be here once things have stabilized. Also tell Shana to take care. Hopefully a system can be set up for her mother quickly.
