Personal Update (July's delays and all) (Patreon)

As you probably know, I hate being late with my schedule and I always have delivered every single reward of the month in time, even if it took me down to the last minute to finish. This is something you can easily corroborate by seeing the Monthly Breakdown I post every month and all previous rewards by date and type.

Sadly, the month of July was particularly difficult for me, in a personal way. A number of real life events like me having to visit my father at the very beginning of the month, have kept me away from my regular work schedule constantly during all past month. There have been other issues that kept poking holes at my schedule every week for the last few weeks, like the computer requiring hard rebooting, blackouts due heavy rain, the kids requiring special attention at home, surprise visit from family and friends, etc.

In addition to all that, I have felt pretty tired due the super heavy work schedule I've been trying to keep up for the last couple of years. And being tired doesn't help with me managing to keep at bay that ugly depression I've been struggling with all my life. There are some really good days and there are some bad days when it comes to depression. Sadly I felt a heavy depression for the last couple of weeks and that made me work even slower than usual. Working on my comics and characters is a great way for me to deal with depression, but with so many things standing in the way and not letting me do that, helped to make me feel heavier and slower than usual.

To be honest with you, I had to take a couple of days away from everything computer related and my work, to take a breather and try to regain strength. I'll be back to regular schedule today and I'll be trying my best to catch up with last month's "Question for..." that I still owe you.

I cannot promise anything, because everything that happened last month was not something I could really avoid or plan. But within the limits of my power, I'll do my best to stay in schedule this month and keep offering you guys more of those characters and stories you love. As I said before, working with them helps me deeply with keeping my inner demons at bay.

I must also consider the possibility that I simply am taking a way larger amount of work that what I can actually manage to do. So I'm keeping this in mind for the future months, in case it becomes clear that's the case and I may require to change things a bit. But at least for now, regular rewards remain as usual. If anything changes, I'll let you know.
