Jackary Archives Day 159 - Bunny Suit Zelda (2020) (Patreon)

Today's Archives post brings you yet another Zelda drawn by jackary, this time wearing a cute bunny suit!

You've no doubt seen this Zelda before -- this drawing has multiple outfit variations, and two of them -- her Zero Suit and her Sling Swimsuit -- have already been posted to the Jackary Archives.

But here she is in a cute little bunny suit! Maybe I should have posted this closer to spring, but we'll take bunnies any day of the year, thank you!

ARTIST NOTES

This piece was a commission in 2020, and as you can guess, it was one that included several different variations! The Zero Suit version was the "main" version, and the others were secondary to that. However, the same commissioner also ordered a Bunny Suit Samus piece, where the Bunny Suit was meant to take after her Zero Suit design. So, we decided to draw Zelda in a bunny suit as well, one that was modeled after the Zero Suit she was wearing!

I figured I would make that clear, since it would otherwise seem kinda weird that Zelda's bunny suit was shiny and rubber-like with Samus's colors ;)

Originally, I only had the blue version. But when I made her many Zero Suit variants, I landed on a white and blue version I really liked, and decided to make a Bunny Suit equivalent. These colors feel a bit more organic for this version of Zelda, rather than being directly based on Samus's Zero Suit, which makes the piece a little more palatable for independent reposting.
