Weekly Wednesday WIP Dump (Patreon)

Welcome to the first Weekly Wednesday WIP Dump! This is something I intend to do every week, and now that Patreon 2.0 is officially live, I wanna be consistent on this.

It's been a while since I've posted any WIPs, because I've been VERY busy doing a lot of logistical crap, so this will be a big post!

You've probably seen some of these WIPs before, but each week I want to post each piece I'm working on even if it hasn't changed just so you can know what my current slate looks like!

#1: Nude Rosalina

This one is super close to finished! I'd actually like to finish it tomorrow (or the next day since I'm doing a Patreon sketch tomorrow), as it's been nearly-finished for a long time now. The basic shading is there but I still need to properly render her skin.

#2: Ember (OC Commission)

This cute bunny girl was commissioned by one of YOU, and she's a keeper. I've got these underwear and Zero Suit versions sketched out, and I'll soon start rendering them. Fun fact: There's a nude and bunny suit version of her that I just finished TODAY and I will be posting her to Patreon tomorrow! 

#3: Kat (Gravity Rush)

This is a commission of Kat from Gravity Rush! She will be wearing this red dress, and two other outfits that haven't been sketched yet. I have a rough render plan laid out, but that background is just a quickly-done placeholder that will look much better in the final version!

#4: OC Duo Commission

This is a pretty fun and interesting project! The commissioner has a thing going where he commissions an artist to draw two OC characters, and then plays a game of "telephone" by passing those characters to the next artist, letting them make some changes. By the end of the cycle the characters will have taken on a life of their own!

I can't share the image from the previous artist, but here's how these ladies are looking so far according to MY interpretation ;)

The image is in "early render" stage so a lot of the details that will really make the drawing pop aren't present yet, and it will also eventually have a full background with detail.

These girls will also have an alt with office lady outfits!

#5: Reisalin Stout (Atelier Ryza 3)

Ryza! This is another one commissioned by one of you lovely folks in the audience. I posted these two WIPs a while ago, and unfortunately, I've been SO busy between those two vacations, launching my Patreon, and everything else that I haven't been able to make any progress on it. 

But I'm long overdue for an update on this, so you'll see something soon!

Fun fact: There will be four(4) alternate outfits for this drawing!

#6: Ariel (The Little Mermaid)

I've finally been commissioned to draw a Disney princess! I've never done a Disney piece before, and it's a fun prospect, given how much inspiration I take from the 90s era of their animation.

This one is Ariel in human form -- she'll be sitting on a rock surrounded by waves, and she'll be wearing a cute one-piece swimsuit designed to evoke the look of her blue dress from the movie.

I want to move this one along further ASAP, as it's overdue for an update. 

#7: Summer Seashell Corrin

Another commission from a fellow Patron! I just mocked up this sketch today, and I'm really excited to see where this one goes! The commission is of Corrin in her seashell bikini from Fire Emblem Cypher.

At first, I was just going to draw a fairly generic pose of her in the water in sunny weather. Then I wondered what it may look like if she were in a more twilight/sunset moment of the day. Then I wondered what she might look like if wind was blowing through her hair. 

In my mind, these things all culminated into a moodier, more pensive vibe. It's not like the pose is terribly deep or anything, but I love the idea of her being "lost in thoughts" in the "ocean's gray waves."

#8: Aerith and Terra (Final Fantasy VII/VI)

You wouldn't really know it right now, since this drawing is in the earliest stages of mockup, but this is going to be quite a fun picture! It's going to be Aerith from FFVII and Terra from FFVI posing together! There will be a pastel goth version, and an outfit swap version of the drawing.

The sketch you see here is just a mockup, traced and slightly modified from reference material, because I was simply spitballing composition ideas to the commissioner. Now that we've agreed on the general premise, I'll be redrawing it from scratch, making the righthand pose look more natural, adjusting the characters' bodies to be more accurate to their characters, and so on. Can't wait to get some more work done on this one!

#9: Aerith (Final Fantasy VII)

Here's another drawing of Aerith! And it couldn't have come at a better time, with FFVII Rebirth around the corner. I only have a very basic sketch laid out right now, and I don't even we ever even agreed on an outfit? So I'll have to figure that out soon LOL

There's a second version of this drawing in the works, but I'm not quite ready to show that one yet >:)

#10: Student Zelda NSFW

I really liked how last week's Zelda sketch turned out so I wanted to make a NSFW version of her! Being just a sketch, I'm not sinking a ton of time into this one, but I simply couldn't resist.

The underwear one is mostly done. Aside from touchups, this one probably won't be very different from how it is now once I post it in a few days. Though I do want to have a version with tights, so that one will be a fresh surprise when it comes!

Nude version is mostly there, but still needs a little more rendering.

#11: Goth Byleth

Remember that Goth Byleth from months ago? I really liked how it turned out, and so did everyone else, apparently. I had intended to make a "high render" version of it, and I was chipping away at it, up to the point where I'm at in these WIPs.

Unfortunately, my drawing queue got stuffed with projects shortly after, so this one will probably be on the bench for a while.

I know it's been forever since I've posted new art or even WIPs, but as you can see, I've been very, very busy, and now that my giant laundry list of "shit to get done" is getting a little smaller by the day, I'll have increasingly more time to draw and start finishing these off.
