Mr Music Addict

Thanks ladies for your reaction! I've been hoping for this reaction since you two watched Good Will Hunting 😀 The acting of Matt Damon when he is rescued and his gratitude when saying "Thanks for coming back for me " gets me every time I watch this amazing movie 🙂

Yes! I am glad you girls finally got to this movie. One of my most anticipated! One of the best performances by Matt Damon. This movie is also based on the book. The fun fact about the book. The writer of the Martian Andy Weir, is not a scientist by profession. He is a software engineer with a strong personal interest in space, physics, and engineering. He meticulously researched the science for The Martian, ensuring the story was grounded in real physics, chemistry, and space exploration concepts. His attention to scientific detail helped make the book popular among both scientists and general readers. Interestingly enough, every problem he came up with was eventually solvable which led to the recuse of Mark Wattney. Something like this could actually be achieved in real life. With some adjustments to some physics inaccuracies portrayed in the book and movie.

Lastly I want to request the direct movie that inspired this movie and the book. "Apollo 13" based in a true story starring Tom Hanks. Perhaps one of the most memorable moments in the History of Nasa.

John Locke

Hell yeah great movie! Magy, I want to 2nd the request for "APOLLO 13" you girls would love this movie a hell of a lot! I hope others join in and requesting this Stellar film!

Scott Smith

I saw this movie recently actually, you reacted to it right on time haha 😄 Another inspired performance from Matt Damon is in the movie ‘The Departed’, a classic, phenomenal movie with a stellar cast including Jack Nicholson, Mark Wahlberg and Leonardo DiCaprio! 🤩 Requested on a lot of other channels as well 😎

Saving Private Ryan next if you can. Matt Damon is also in it. If not. I also recommend Fury 2014. One of my favorite movies.

Ben

Book to movie adaptations are often disappointing, but this is a very good one IMO. The book is fantastic, and the movie is fantastic. Sure, they changed some things, but overall I think the movie did a great job of capturing what made the book so engaging.

Unfortunately I’ve been informed Magy already has seen Saving Private Ryan years ago but the reaction was lost 😢 However Fury is indeed a great war film if she eventually gets into that vibe, starring Brad Pitt.

Fury is good, also been requesting "hacksaw Ridge" for war films. For Sci Fi, it would be cool if they get to Interstellar and armegeddon soon. Would be epic!

So, when are you going to take Laura back in time to a Galaxy Far, Far Away?

JonSnow21

I also recommend Blood Diamond . It stars Leonardo Dicaprio and is amazing.

You all should check out Legends Of The Fall

@kOLa Instead of "nice reaction but the matrian before the crazy movie armageddon ? " Next time you can go with something like "nice reaction, would love to see you react to Armageddon in the future" The movies are not related in any way, shape or form besides the "space" theme. Everything else is different.

You are right, my english is bad, but yes, nice reaction i just thought , armag, was a funnier movie to see before. Cops comments, relax no disrespect.

Your english is fine, don't worry about it. Armageddon is a timeless classic, there's not wrong time to watch it and you can rest assured, it's on the list.

I've seen armegeddon requested a lot and interstellar. It's definitely on their radar so I wouldn't worry! Excited for both! It was awesome to see them finally get to the martian.
