Fun fact ladies. This was Sam Wise (Sean Astins) first movie he played in at the age of 13! Matter a fact quite few young actors in here who became huge! but most notable is Josh Brolin here who you know as Thanos among other big movies he played in that you seen like Dune part 1 and 2, plays Brandon here in the Goonies at just the age of 16.

You might have been a bit confused at the end where they told the reporter about the octopus. The uncut/extended version of this movie included a scene with a giant octopus in the lagoon that Brand saved Andy from after she walked the plank.

You might want to consider watching "Everything Everywhere All at Once", with Ke Huy Quan (Data) in a supporting role for which he won an Academy Award. An interesting story about him landing that role: he was referred to that role by Jeff Cohen (Chunk), who was a lifelong friend after they starred together in the Goonies, and who became an entertainment lawyer. It was Cohen who negotiated the contract for Quan to star in "Everything Everywhere All at Once". You'll see Quan again for sure when you start Loki, season 2.

All I know is that Thanos is in this movie 😎

Ah, right in the childhood <3 A few people above mentioned all the actors who went on to really famous roles, but there was also The shorter of the Fratellis, Francis - was played by Joe Pantoliano, who went on to play the treacherous Cypher in the Matrix!

Knight Stone

Childhood memories! What a movie indeed. Great reaction you two! Nothing like a great adventure story! 👍👍
