This episode is very good, because it doesn't shy away from the consequences of Zuko's actions. EVERYONE'S reaction to his change is understandable. Sokka, ever the skeptic, doubts immediately, but is willing to go along if it furthers the overall plan. Aang, always seeing the best in people, is looking at every angle to try and trust Zuko's word, but the evidence for his change are too flimsy and contextual at first. Not to mention, he's been trying to catch him ever since he got out of the ice. Toph relates to Zuko the most since she also grew up in a controlling family, and she wasn't here for most of Zuko's time chasing the Gaang. Makes sense she's the first to be willing to go along with it. Katara, normally the one who'd be more likely to let him in, is the most reluctant, because she already went down that road. And the consequences were the fall of the Earth Kingdom and Aang's literal death.

Oh yeah, and we kind of overlook the fact that Sokka took down Sparky Sparky Boom Man with his boomerang. That's kind of a big deal.
