Winters died on January 2, 2011. He was 93 years old. He was 27 when the war in Europe ended. So he still had a hell of a lot of years left to live. Impressive when you consider that he went through hell and only suffered one wound and yet it must have been difficult to lead a normal life. My utmost respect to him and everyone who had to live through this time. May he and everyone else rest in peace.

I really think schindlers list should be your next reaction girls, it's a difficult watch but an extremely important movie that everybody should see at least once in their life

If you really liked this war series, besides "The Pacific" I’d also recommend checking out the movie "Master and Commander". Totally different in context and time period (19th-century naval wars), but I’m sure you’ll love it if you haven’t seen it yet

This Journey through Band of Brothers was extra special watching it with you two. I didn't want it to end. However im happy to know that you guys will watch the Pacific at some point and if I heard correctly in the outro, the Band of Brothers documentary (We Stand Alone Together) soon. Doesn´t matter how many times you watch this series, you cry at the end anyway! By far the most well made series imo. We can´t even come close to imagine the things these men and all the others in the war but we can honor them but never forgetting! Thank you for watching it <3
