I still plan on writing chapters today - I had a good nap - but I wanted to make a bit of an announcement first.

Patreon is my only source of income and where I live the amount I make now is just enough. Though the numbers have been dwindling lately, which is a normal occurrence, but it's getting a bit too risky to play chicken with chance.

I have already decided that I will publish AI Cultivation on KDP and that will hopefully keep me financially stable long enough for me to be able to continue writing, but I won't see earnings from that for a couple of months with how amazon payouts work.

I am still very passionate about AI Cultivation, but it's strange place in no man's land on the success scale is starting to make me wonder from time to time if ending the story after this volume is perhaps for the best. I mean, it doesn't make me not worry about what I'll eat next week.

I have no plans to end the story after this volume, but the temptation is there. Does that make sense? I don't like distractions like this, and I don't know if writing another story will help, but it could eliminate my biggest worry: income. I also kind of just want to let loose and write some nonsense that I can't write in AI Cultivation.

So what is Fantasia Finis? Actually, if you search for that term on my patreon, you should be able to find the first draft of the story I banged out in two hours several years ago.

Essentially, the world of Finis is a tower, and has a 'System' with content updates every cycle (every year). The world of Finis is meant to end, it constantly strives towards the resolution that the heroes defeat the final boss on the final floor, and the world ends. But there is a catch, that 'final boss' is not the 'true ending' boss, and if they are defeated, the world simply resets. There is a hidden ending boss called 'Finis Apocrypha'.

The story is about a girl that somehow ends up in the boss room of Finis Apocrypha. Confused, the boss asks her why she is so low-level, and where her party members are, only to find out that because the world has gone several centuries without the heroes progressing past floor 40, the world has essentially patched out 'Finis Apocrypha', and the mobs from his hidden floor have abandoned their posts to become the true ending bosses. He is not even considered a boss anymore; just a run-of-the-mill mob.

Understandably upset about this demotion, Finis Apocrypha resets his stats to become an adventurer with intentions to lead a righteous revolution toward reinstating himself as the True Big Bad by leading humanity and assorted races toward victory over the world.

It is litRPG heavy (way more than AI Cultivation) and mostly supposed to be a comedy, with lots of gamer terms used in character, and even a 'twitter' for adventures called 'advitter'. It has lots of dumb stuff, is the only way I can really describe it, and is meant to be a shorter story about an awesome god gamer final-boss-now-adventurer, and I am pretty sure some elements of BDSM because I am a psychopath or something. I am not yet sure what I mean by that last bit, but some of the interactions I am imagining reminds me a lot of KonoSuba and the characters there, and this appeals to me and I like it.

When? I don't know yet. Probably around May 20th, or some time thereabouts.

Let me know what you think. I also have other ideas for side projects, but they're neither short nor as fleshed out as this one.

EDIT: Here's a link to the original prologue draft: https://www.patreon.com/posts/fantasia-finis-49854051

The actual prologue will be a lot different from that one, but that is a pretty spot-on demonstration of what the characters will be like, and what the aesthetic of the story is.

I think AI Cultivation should probably be re-released on RR with a new title, with quick chapter releases that ensure its on Trending for at-least a month or two. Many, many RR authors have gotten a major popularity boost by doing a re-release with a tighter story. (If you do this, IMHO all the Ecchi stuff should be removed - it doesn't really add to the story and tends to piss off a fair number of readers) Finis Apocrypha seems a very peculiar niche that would normally attract only a subset of readers. But sometimes comedies become very popular and its very difficult to predict the success of a comedy story.

Weaver Writing

I don't hate this idea, but it's something I would seriously have to think about. Maybe it is something I would consider when I finish volume 2. There is another project I am thinking about, so what I end up writing might be put up for a patreon vote. I'll have more info about this later.
