The Canal District is a unique quarter of the city. It has an ambience not found elsewhere; There are winding canals filled with traditional boats, cramped rows of shops and homes rising above the waterline. The docks, the towers topped with flags, and the lighthouse make for romantic setting. But the Canal District is filled with more sailors and porters than couples dining. It acts a miniature harbor along the eastern portion of the city. It is a hub of ships of all shapes and sizes, goods and valuables pass through the canals daily. Many of the nondescript buildings are warehouses and sheds. Examples of the entire set, at each tier, can be seen below. I want everyone to be able to use my maps so I will post free versions weekly. Long Live D&D!
