One weird thing with the script was he got fired, yet he still got to use his office for the rest of the day? Also with the script, I wonder if Jerry told Rod he doesn't play with heart so Rod would try and prove him wrong, and he does play with heart and that would make him perform better. You mentioned the unexpected choice to only show Ray during the wedding vows. Since I watched this earlier in the day, I realized it was so we could see people's reaction when they were watching the wedding video. At least that is my theory. I had to look up the definition of manifesto, and I think mission statement and manifesto are interchangeable. Still amazed at your silent sneeze.

Hi Shan! No issues at all with the upload. I've been waiting patiently for this one, so thank you. Rom-com+Sports. Sign me up, always. Rene was amazing in Empire Records, earlier, if you haven't seen that one yet.You asked who Frank Cushman was. That is Jerry O'Connell. He was one of the four boys in Stand by Me (Vern), alongside River Phoenix, Corey Feldman and Wil Wheaton. You haven't covered that one yet, so anyone reading this is now angry. I live in Dallas-Fort Worth, and can testify that Dallas won super bowls in '92, '93, and the '95-'96 season, so they were on top of the world, when this was filmed (they haven't won since, and I might point out that was before people had internet in their homes. It's been awhile). You're right, they've been terrible most of your life. Glad you enjoyed this one. Almost Famous is still one of my favorites ever.

This felt like a sequel to Risky Business with the sunglasses and the hook lines "Sometimes You Just Have to Say WTF" and "Show me the Money.." It had the romantic warmth of Almost Famous. Good reaction and review. Thanks for an enjoyable evening.

ah thanks for watching!! I love love Stand by Me! I knew I recognized him. My family are big Cowboys fans so Im only slightly ashamed that I didn't know they were big around this time. and Almost Famous takes the cake, but this was very very fun
