I loved Katharine Ross in The Graduate with Dustin Hoffman. It's from a little over a year earlier, and she is brilliant! For all the monumental work Paul Newman gifted to us, I always forget that is him as the mob boss in Road to Perdition, with Tom Hanks. Idk, maybe because it is of a different time, I'm not expecting him, similar to how no one recognizes Burt Lancaster as Dr. Graham in Field of Dreams.

A good Paul Newman/Tom hanks film is road to perdition. Also another fun little film is the movie tough guys, 2 men get out of prison after like 40 years and have to deal with a changed world and retirement.
