😲 Wow, that was such an amazingly awesome movie and yeah I agree with you shanelle the landscapes and wide-shots were fantastic. Can't wait to see what they do for the sequel. This was my first time seeing Prey so thank you for having it on your channel👍. Also you asked if you should consider dog based movies, well here's a few suggestions if you do: beethoven 1&2, homeward bound 1&2, marmaduke, hachi: a dogs tale and Marley and me (family friendly). Strays (adult based).

For those of you who are/were having trouble with the patreon app not playing any videos (I was 1 of them) I think it's working now because I was unable to watch previous videos on the app but I was able to watch the full-length version of Prey today so hopefully it stays working 🤞.

So glad you enjoyed this one. I thought it was amazing when I first watched it. And I just stumbled across this movie when it first hit the streaming service and thought what do I have to lose and watched it. So glad I did. Just stunning and well written and felt like a departure from the Hollywood norms. I couldn’t stop raving about this movie to my friends who watched it and agreed it was very good. I will never stop recommending this movie.

i think the biggest thing about production of this movie was how they intentionally avoided white washing the cast. if i am not mistaken, all of the Native American characters in this movie were portrayed by actual Native American actors. the lead actors name is Amber Midthunder...how fucking awesome is that name?!?!?! if she and i were to get married, i would take her last name. all that aside, i agree it is a shame this movie didnt get a theatrical release but, who knows, someday it might. this movie did have a really big call back to the first Predator sequel from the early 90's which might be pretty fun to see you react to. if anything else, Predator 2 has Bill Paxton in it if that peaks your interest. it is not the greatest bu still...neat. this was a lot of fun, glad you liked it and i am anxiously awaiting your next reaction.

I am unable to watch this video from my phone app. This is a Patreon issue but I doubt they’ll resolve it. Works fine from my laptop however.

Sorry to hear the apps still not working on your phone, I just checked it there as I received your reply and the app is working fine once again with me. This all started with basic instinct with me where I couldn't watch that or previous videos like the dark crystal, robocop, total recall etc, but now I'm able to re-watch the videos on the app that came before basic instinct and that includes basic instinct. The only one I can't watch on the app is Starship Troopers because it's saying "this video doesn't exist" but the rest are all fine.

This is so bizarre. I’m checking back through them now, it seems i have to cut and paste the link into my phone browser and then this video works for me. I’m going to check on starship troopers. And don’t forget about my YouTube watch along playlist. I’ll repost again if you missed it. In the new year we’re ditching Vimeo! Such a headache 🙃

It's fine shanelle I don't know about other patreons but I was able to watch the full-length version of Starship Troopers on patreon.com through your YouTube channel on the day you put it up

If I'm not mistaken, the Indian in the original movie talks about the lore of the predator that he learned from his tribe elders. So I'm assuming that this is where those stories came from. Also, the pistol in this movie is the same one that was given to Danny Glover in Predator 2... sry for the spoiler lol
