I plan for this to be the last Patreon upload of 2023! After this I will be switching to YouTube hosted watch alongs!  I'm always open to feedback, we'll tackle the best way to synch up together :)

Looking forward to this one cause I only remember the general plot and Nyman's score (who could forget Schubert's Impromptu in Gb major for *twelve* fingers?).

Hi. I send things like these to family and friends at this time every year, so to you shanelle and all circle of friends on patreon, here you are: Well Christmas day is over for another year We'll have spent time with family and friends far and near, we'll have tucked into some mince pies and jam tarts and even finished off the sprouts....dear god what gassy farts 💨. We've unwrapped gifts, laughed and continue to have a good time When the next things we hear will be those new year bells chime, so let us all make one thing clear, we all have fun and enjoy this soon to be new year. To a young lady we'll all say a new years hello and what's this young lady's name....why it's Shanelle Riccio, to 2023 we'll soon be closing that door and opening a brand new one to 2024. To you and your family shanelle have a happy new year and to all others out there too 🎉🔔👍 P.S I've changed a few of the words because of who I'm sending this to.

I've never seen Gattaca before so watching it on here was my first time seeing too. I thought it was a good little movie with some good actors and it was nice to see 2 of the most legendary iconic actors in this to grace cinema screens: Alan Arkin and the one and only Ernest Borgnine.

I saw it in the theatre--and its magical!! tight script, compelling characters. favorite dialogue: "I lent you my body, but you lent me your dream"

I don’t think this film dives quite enough into the horrors of a pro-eugenics dystopia. Oh no the middle class guy might have to be a janitor? That’s not scary enough. It’s a little too glossy and clean for me. The whole thing feels like a magazine ad. Society is too successful at it’s goal. I don’t know… Having a character aspire to go to space when he should be trying to take the whole system down instead… Especially as an autistic person. Like this society wouldn’t accept me and I’d probably have been… unalived at some point.

I was laughing at how much you spaced out during the scene where they tell you who the killer is, I'm sure you'll look back on it in the edit and groan.

After spending the night with Uma in the beach house, I don't think one hair and some dead skin cells is what I would be worrying about.

I know... im bad with names like SHOW ME HIM!! They make a whole show of it using just his name. and then I'm like okay and he's OLD got it ahahha

shanellericcio

I have to come back here... they're talking about "him" the entire scene! But like as if Josef isn't even in the room...and I'm like why is he so calm, he's not defending himself?! Idk I think that performance was super weird

Vince

Haha yeah. I think Alan Arkin mentioned that he’s being real cooperative (yes he got caught and is going to prison but the space mission is still a go, which was the whole reason for killing that guy), it looks like he just came clean about the whole thing to Arkin once the evidence was found - and is now just kinda sitting there in a daze.
