Hi everyone!

Sorry I’ve been away for a bit — I took a couple of weeks off to recharge after wrapping up 10 straight issues of All New Venom. I was completely drained, but now I’m back full of energy!

About commissions: I still have a list of pending ones, and I’ll try to start a new piece next week if no cover work comes in. At the same time, I’ll keep pushing to finish the rest of the list. Sorry again for the delay — I’ve just had so much on my plate that it’s been almost impossible to find time for them.

I really hope you can hang in there a little longer, but if not, no worries — I can always issue a refund if you’d prefer.

Now, for the fun part: here’s the full process of the Venom #252 cover! It was kinda weird drawing that funky Spider-Man suit on Venom, but hey, that’s comics for you 😅. Timelapse coming next week!

Enjoy!

Only one? What are the prices? And how would someone contact you for to tell you what they want?

Carlos Gomez

My bad, I wasn't clear, it's one form the remaining on the list, I'm not taking any new ones.😅

GrievousLizard

Oh. When will you open up commissions?

Carlos Gomez

Not any time soon... Definitely will let you know on Patreon when I do.

Young-Griff

Hey Carlos happy to see you back from vacation, do you ever think you draw more sketches like before? I miss them so much 😭

Aidan W

Are you still doing the monthly comic and original?

mike

in drawing process , do you start with body anatomy n details second? cause sometimes I start idk where to draw

Carlos Gomez

Glad to be back! More sketches, as in not from All-New Venom and covers??

Carlos Gomez

Dude! I totally forgot about that! I'll catch up on those, I think I'm a month behind

Young-Griff

By sketches I mean those old spicy sketches you used to draw of She-Hulk, America Chavez and other female characters.

Aidan W

All good! I am probably so far down on the list that I won't get one for years, but hey at least somebody is lol

Carlos Gomez

"I first draw the basic shape of the character, then add simple body parts like head, arms, and legs. After that, I make the sketch more detailed, adding muscles, then clothes and the face. Check out some of my timelapses, you can see the process therw. I think I did one with just standing poses.

Carlos Gomez

Haha I knew it! I want to but I really don't have time at the moment, it sucks!
